Unfortunately we only got to stay in Singapore of one night and we picked this hotel thru the internet. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was really clean, spacious and the staff couldn't be any friendlier they always had a warm welcome smile. We will definitely go back to Singapore and stay here again. Well worth every penny. The location couldn't have been any better unless you wanted to just sleep in the malls. The hotel is surrounded by 3 large upscale malls.

Positives: Free internet at the business centre Internet connection in the room free minibar - replenished daily (alcohol is limited to 2 tiger beers) Probably the best location (Scotts & Orchard) Rooms are nice and modern Flat panel plasma - limited channels (Star Cable) Negatives Staff were extremely unhelpful and rude - very snobby Despite the convenient location I wont be staying there again due to the fact that the service let the establishment down. I recommend the Orchard Hotel.

A very good hotel where I will stay again if I am in Singapore.It is in a central location within a 5 minute walk of the underground rail station. Breakfast is excellent and of the highest standard. The food is strictly catered according to dietary requirements and particular attention is paid to halal food. Staff very polite and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable with top class shower and complimentary mini bar and internet. The only downside are the gym and pool which are very small/basic but you can forgive that given the overall quality of the hotel.

Very friendly , caring staff who always offered their services with a beautiful smile on their faces. Very professional and organized service particularly during breakfast even during the rush hours. I recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to have a memorable stay in Singapore.

I stayed at the Royal Plaza on Scotts for a week in April 2009. This luxury hotel offers the best value for your money in Singapore. The room was a little on the small side, but was clean and comfortable for two people. The hotel offers a daily breakfast buffet which features a multitude of options sure to tantalize your taste buds; needless to say it was great. I also ordered room service several times and the food was delicious too. All staff members from the bellhop to the concierge were a pleasure to deal with. The Royal Plaza also has a lounge called Heat Ultra Lounge which was a great place to hang out and grab a nightcap. Conveniently located to all the major shopping malls and great places to eat, the MRT is only a short walk away. If you?re on the fence between the Royal Plaza and another hotel in Singapore, go with the Royal Plaza you will not be disappointed.

Hotel is ideally placed;easy walking distance to Orchard Rd.shopping and eating places, and METRO.Decor and staff are good and once you take into account the fabulous buffet breakfast included and daily no-cost replenishment of refrigerator the cost becomes quite reasonable.Definitely recommended.I will certainly come back again!

I travel often for business and have seen my share of good and bad hotels. This time I was on 4 days of vacation in Singapore. Positives: Great location if you are interested in shopping. Hotel is located in a very busy part of town but up in the room, it was super quiet. Convenient MRT station just a short walk away if you are interested in seeing other parts of town. Loved the large rain showerhead in the bathroom. Hotel provided free drinks in minibar which included soft drinks, juices and beer. Business centre provides 15 minutes of free Internet use to all clients so it was easy to stay up to date with family and friends at home. Staff and service was excellent! Negatives: Gym would be OK if it was air-conditioned. As it was, it felt like a sauna at 6am! Pool looked great with cascading waterfalls but I didn't try it out. Limited breakfast options as hotel restaurant only provides buffet breakfast at a cost of S$*. Yikes. Starbucks down the street doesn't open until 9am but small McDonald's opened 24 hours.

We stayed at the Royal Plaza on Scots in Singapore for 5 days and were very impressed with the hotel. The concierge Mr Ibriham was a real gem - no exageration - he made the difference between an ordinary holiday and a very interesting and busy holiday. His tips on the local transport system and tours etc were invaluable. All the staff were excellent and our stay was problem free. The free mini bar is such a welcome relief to having to pay through the nose every time you want a drink.

This hotel is in the heart of the city and it is very comfy beds and rooms.. But the price is in the high end and even with good discount it is alitle to high ! But the food there very good ! And the staff very friendly but they could slow down there english ehehe speak very fast ! Hade a wounderfule stay !

A very convenient place to stay. Just a few minutes from the famous Orchard Road. Price-wise was OK however I would prefer it to be a bit cheaper.

My choice for Singapore next time

Managed to booked room at a good price during the Christmas season. Service was good and the location was excellent. Good size twin beds a plus factor. Taxi surprisingly at this time was not a problem. A number of Food courts nearby are clean too. Will not hesitate to recommend hotel to friends.

"Staying at the Royal Plaza was great. Free broadband, 6 free drinks in the minibar every day. The staff was very helpful. The rroms were quite big, and everything was clean. The breakfast was awesome. The only drawback is that the Hotel is in the middle of high rise buildings and there are only a few rooms with a view. But all in all it's a great place. We will go back there.anytime."

Excellent hotel to stay in Singapore.24hrs Mc Donald's is available near the hotel entrance.Excellent ammenities and an unforgettable, most comfortable bed worldwide!Will definitely come back to stay at this hotel.
