A very nice hotel, with friendly attentive staff. The gym facilities are first class. A pleasure to stay here. Would stay again.

Thai people like everywhere else in Thailand very polite and helpfull however hotel bit far away from european standards,for instance I've bought 24 h internet access and leter on been told that my floor doesn't have either cable or wi-fi,upon check-out been asked if minibar was in use when the only minibar I had was empty fridge:-) Anyway gym and swimming pool just great and localisation just right in city centre a big plus! But if you're looking for something more exiting, better go to the other side of the island,Patong Beach!Have a lot of fun,Thailand is just great!

this is the second time i have stayed at the royal phuket city.the staff are all very helpful and friendly and speak good english. the room was a comfortable size as was the bathroom with a good shower. it was all nice and clean. the buffet breakfast was ample, and there was a well kitted out gym. i will stay again when in phuket city.

we only stayed here as was close to ferry and we wanted to catch an early boat, was very cheap and you get what you pay for, bit old and tatty but didn't mind at all as didn't cost us very much. dont expect the height of luxury!
