Unfriendly, uncooperative staff - when I complained, the front desk guy told me, "yeah, well, too bad". We are changing hotels for good in April...

I am very disappointed about the additional hotel fee apply to my total package cost without let me know on the time I booked the package with the Orbitz. When I booked this package I did ask very clearly about any the additional fee applied to the package and the customer service told me there were not any additional fee applied to the package.

Location was great and great views.

It is very convenient location and service staff quite friendly. The only headache was room key. It has often been demagnetised by other electronic devices.

We had a full ocean view on the 14th floor which was really beautiful. The room was clean, but worn. My husband had ordered a surprise through the concierge (who used a third party to fill) which was not delivered on time and was far below our expectations, but we were able to get a reimbursement through the hotel for it. Everyone was very nice, the kitchen food was good. Beverage service from the hotel to the beach was fast and accurate. It was a nice feature. Great access to beach, shopping, restaurants.

This was our first stay at the Royal Palms and it was good and bad. The good was the price, location, pools and the view. The bad was my girl friend had a juicy coture bag stolen from her suitcase. We talked to hotel security and they didn't really do a thing about it. No comp this, no maybe a discount off your room, no free drink tickets, just a well it looks like you are SOL. Other than that not too plesant experience it was a good stay, I will say this location is perfect!

Location. Not that clean. An automatic pool/beach fee regardless of whether you use it or not (per person) and parking of 39.00 per night for a car.

The hotel is very good and I'll return next year.

I was not happy with the condition of the rooms, not like the pictures they advertise!! Rooms were somewhat dirty, walls & doors had worn-out stains & carpets were shredded in some parts. Our room was switched after one night due to the air conditioning not working and the temperature of the water in the shower only staying HOT, not even warm??? The second room had a leaking toilet which was just fabulous to deal with. A complaint was made but nothing was done, so we just kept requesting more & more towels to throw on the floor! FYI, the water pressure in both showers SUCKED!!! It felt like the shower was "spitting" the water out, ehhhh. By the way, the mattresses are absolutely HORRIBE!! All of us (4 girls) returned home with back pain, great way to go back to work after a "vacation" ???? The only plus is the location of the hotel & the fact that they provide their customers with beach towels, lounge chairs, & umbrellas, free of charge, at the beach (& pool). I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!!

The roomes that are not renovated are the small and dirty found a beer bottle under my bed with beer still in it .....They ran out of wash rags everyday...The staff is very rude

The front lobby service (bell boys, front desk, concierge) were amazing! It could use a little renovation (ie..paint color, chairs, fixtures). This hotel completely met and exceeded my expectations. I traveled down to spend a night before leaving on a cruise the next day. My wife and 10 month old were with me and we loved the service, as well as, the location of the hotel. It was a perfect walk to Lincoln St/Dr/Ave where the market was and a quick Taxi ride to some amazing restaurants. I will definitely stay there again when cruising again. This is the place to stay, regardless of the price. I wish I had more time to enjoy all the amenities!

Overall very dirty - the room, the carpet and the windows. The rooms are very small and don't look anything like the website pictures. The rooms did not have a mini-bar or refrigerator. The climate-control knobs were broken. The TV was not working - we asked for them to repair it, but they didn't. They didn't even get back to apologize for not fixing it. Although it was a king bed, if you are anything over 5ft 9 inches, your legs won't fit However the WORST part was the NOISE - you can hear everything in the rooms around you - the doors slam because they don't have the mechanism to shut slowly. We did not get a single nights sleep undisturbed. There were multiple door slams, conversations, etc throughout the night and early morning.

I loved the pool I went down there almost every day, I just didn't like that we didn't have a refrigerator in the room or tv cable. It was fine, I had a good time .

Excellent location, cool place. Staff wasunfriendly. Cool place, good structure, cozy rooms, excellent location. However, they charged me additional US$19,90/day - resort fee, this fee does not make any sense.

Our room was very worn: stained and shredded carpeting also looked dirty; scratched, dented, stained furniture and surfaces. Suite had tired and sinking couch. Bathtub did not have a plug so use limited to showerering. Staff indifferent; were not asked how stay was at checkout. Deceptive pricing: $20 per night resort fee and $40 per night parking added. Indifferent bar service at pool; mandatory 25% gratuity/tax added to beverage orders even when I had to approach bar myself for service. Plus: great location close to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Avenue for dining and shopping. Attractive grounds and lobby areas. Good pillows.

this hotel is at a great location --- i would stay again but I know this time not expect any service.... at the beach our cabana boy was never to be found .. all 4 days that we were there .. so we asked the cabana boy from the hotel next door to take our drink order at the beach ... the front desk staff is horrible... super rude and absolutley no charisma or smiles.. they look like they just HATE their job .. check-in took us an hour !!! because they are so slow and managment is never to be found to help speed up the process .. -- there is a $300 deposit that they dont tell you about until you get there so that makes it an even longer process. Over all just avoid the staff and spend as much time at the beach andother places as you can and avoid asking them for stuff as little as possible so you dont get ticked off when they cannot provide .. But awesome location .

All around terrible. This was the worst ever. The room was disgustingly dirty, the staff was super rude, my husband had to sleep on the floor. We asked to be moved to another room with more than one queen size bed and there were none - and no cots either! They kindly gave us a blanket for him to sleep on the floor! I could not even put my baby on the floor to crawl it was so dirty. The pool had no towels for hours. It was consistently terrible.

The hotel was in the perfect area. We could walk everywhere on the strip. We only had one issue, there was a leak in the bathroom and they were quick to move us to another room. They even gave us a credit for the bar and restaurant. Overall i am very pleased with my stay..

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. The hotel itself was not clean at all. The carpets were dirty in the hallways, the rooms were dirty and lacking amenities. We didnt have an alarm clock in our room! We were put in a handicapp room which our shower flooded the bathroom everytime we used it. Woulodnt stay here again.
