I stayed here November 8-12-2009, in Room 1069. I was on business by myself so I can't speak for honeymooners or families with kids. Either on business or leisure, this is a very nice hotel. Especially if Marrakech is your destination, then you are in the right place with the right people. But it is worthier. The food here is of course above average Quality/Price. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Housekeeping and Maintenance Service must be on the go, everything is clean, paradisiacal landscape, marvelous swimming pool, breathtaking interior design, and I’m still speechless!!! After reading a couple of bad reviews, to me they were only gossip & fuss. The only negative is that I didn’t speak Moroccan, so I could tell the staff how much I really enjoyed & appreciated their hospitality…. I couldn’t ask for more. Keep it up Royal Mirage: You are the “BEST”. Mr PARKER

We can’t say enough: nice staff, great room and great service. If you tried the rest and you’re looking for "THE BEST", you will found it in Royal Mirage Marrakech Hotel. We were treated with royalty everywhere on this property. Felt right at home in this resort. The staff should be commended on their willingness to give their guests the best service possible. Thank you Royal Mirage isn’t enough!!!!! Mr & Mrs LIRARY

marrakech sun hotel staff were excellent .buffet breakfast food was very good.did not eat in restaurant et other meals as quite expensive much better value in restaurant in djemma el fna 2 pound taxi ride.we had booked disabled room but facilities are not to same as england with toilet hand rails not adequate in position and only one.also only a bath and no walk in shower all this a bit difficult for mywife who cannot walk but with some improvisation with hotes help we managed.all that is needed is a bit of guidance as to what is required.

Upon arriving, they charged us an additional $40 per night for my husband. We really did not understand why, as we made reservations for a single room but they insisted that we have double beds. After forking over the additional money we walked through a very nice lobby and were faced with the great looking pool. We went up to the rooms to find none other than two sunken beds with furnishings at least 30 years old. It looked like one of the run down hotels in Panama City, FL. We sucked it up and went out to the pool. It is really nice but the bar is EXTREMELY over priced. For four drinks we spent the equivalent of $60. These are the prices I would expect in Manhattan, not in a this resort. While we really enjoyed the pool, we got kicked out of it when we tried to go in after dinner one night. We were completely dissatisfied and are very happy that we did not have a three night stay. Instead our third night was at a quaint guesthouse for which I will specifically travel back to Morocco to visit. The Royal Mirage is just that... a vision in the distance but not what it appears once you get close.

I was expecting more from 5* hotel. hot buffet breakfast was really poor, no meat at all, could not remember where i signed up for vegetarianism:) a kind of mess at the pool - no towels. Of advantages: very quiet place, regardless children presence:) nice view of Atlas mountines, friendly personnel.
