| I stayed at the Royal Mekong Nongkahi Hotel October 25th and 26th 2007. I stayed there because it was the only place I could get a reservation for a room during the Naga Fireball celebration.
The hotel staff was unfriendly to the point of being rude.
The hotel common areas needed a good cleaning.
The ceiling on the 6th floor needs a cleaning and coat of paint. It looked like it was covered in mold.
There was no hot water the first nights even after complaining several times.
The hotel staff was poorly informed about the schedule of events in Nongkahi.
The location is inconvenient for Nongkahi events.
The breakfast was plentiful but not exceptional in any way.
The decor is dated and needs renovation.
I cannot understand how anyone can give this hotel a good review as far as cleanliness, service or facilities. |
