the lights would take a while before coming on. the outlet would pop if i was charging my phone and blowdrying my hair. the shower curtain had mold on it. the remote to the tv wouldn't work. over all the room didn't feel clean. the staff how ever was nice while checking in and out. they made it easy. thank you for that but please clean up better!

Employees were nice. Did not like the first room we were given. On the first day the room was terrible, we were then given a room that met the requirements thats was stated, but if we had not visited another room we would have never known. Also the rooms were cheaper.

"I was looking for a hotel near USC beause some friends and I were going up for St. Patrick's Day. I found the Royal Inn at USC. To me the name clearly lets me know that it was at USC. In addition the description below states it is two miles from Williams Brice Stadium, which is near USC. Being from South Carolina, my friend and I is somewhat familiar with Columbia. We had a pretty good idea where the hotel was located. When we stopped to ask for directions no none knew where Garner Lane was. "
