Very good staff and good location for sights. Some good restaurants close to the Hotel, however not too many open over the weekend other than on the Champs Elysees.

Although this hotel is extremely conveniently located, especially for a first time visitor to Paris, the actual room was extremely disappointing. We were there early afternoon and should have been able to stay in a much bigger room as per my request when booking. As well we were booked for three nights which should have, but did not, make any difference. The room was totally inadequate and closet-like. It overlooked the elevator shaft which was unpleasant and noisy. We will never stay in this hotel again.

Very nice hotel - perfect location - friendly staff. The room was nice, but extremely small and I was expecting (from the picture seen on the website) a bigger bed than the tiny single bed in the corner. Bathroom was nice. Will go back to this hotel for its location and cleanliness.

The room I got was not worth the price. The location was great, the staff was friendly, but just overly disappointed with the room. I have stayed in many different hotels in Paris, so I generally know what to expect with room size etc. but I have definitely stayed in nicer hotels for cheaper or close to the same price.

The room smelt but was tidy. We could hear the couple next door so the walls must have been paper thin. The hotel is in good location and is in walking distance to the Arc de Triumph and cafes etc. Staff were friendly and willing to help/guide us to local nearby amenities.

when we stop at the lounge in the evening there was no one to wait on you, we waited couple of evenings for 10 -15 minutes and still no one was there to take of us and we left so did couple other individuals.

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to all we wanted to see. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Everyone who worked in the hotel were just delightful and really cared about their visitors' comfort and happiness during the stay.

This was a wonderful hotel set in a wonderful area. The view from our balcony was worth much more than the price which we paid. Very warm, helpful, and courteous staff. I will definitely stay at this hotel everytime I visit Paris.

the information on the room said "room service till 22:30" but as we tried to order something at 22:10, they said "there is nothing on the menu prepared in less than 30 min. ..." so they did't accept our order that's really poor !!!

The only disappointment I faced when I checked in at the Royal Hotel was that the web page did not mention the facilities of type of room. I got a single room where the shower was in one corner of the room and the toilet was in the other. There was no mention of that! Also my preference of a view on the main street was not taken in to consideration and I had a view of the stair case & pipes of the hotel!! I got to change the room upon arrival.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable, however even though I had ordered a deluxe room it was tiny and breakfast was an additional 20€ which I did not expect - I assumed that was inclusive. The location of the hotel was excellent.

The Hotel overall was very good, the single rooms were poorly situated and tended to be noisy.

The room which they provided of first night during our stay was really terrible, totally different compare with we have expected before, we were very disappointed. so we asked the reception to change our room, but there's no more room avaliable at that night. I have to say that the first night we really unsatisfied, the room is very small, dark and smelly. After changed to another room the next day, it was fine.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Hotel during Valentine's Day weekend. The location was better then we anticipated. The hotel surroundings was not busy. It was only a 10 min walk to the Champs-Elysees main shopping area and pub. tranportation. Would stay here again a million times.

When we arrived we were shocked to be taken to a rather cramped small room in a corner especially when the occupancy of the hotel (we were told)was low. The 2nd room was much bigger and we chose to stay there. The bathroom was very big which was nice. I did note that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which forces you to order room service for coffee or Tea. Also the items on the bar list are really expensive. 4 Euros for a small bottle of mineral water!! Overall the rooms are okay for the price - expect the bedroom decor to be 3 star, but the bathroom because it is spacious and covered in marble is 4 star.
