FAQs

The following questions have been answered for you by Royal Caribbean Resort...

Where can we dine?
We do not have a restaurant onsite as we are between restaurateurs. In the interim, we offer a snack shack where guests can pre-order food for the next day.
What transport is available to get around?
We are on the local water taxi route for only $4/person to town or back. Land taxis to town are $10.
What can I do nearby?
We are conveniently located on the palm-studded beaches of Ambergris Caye, with easy road, beach and sea access to San Pedro town’s many bars, restaurants, shopping and other amenities. Being just over 1 and 1/2 miles south of San Pedro Town, Royal Caribbean Resort is far enough from the hustle and bustle to provide a truly tranquil setting.

We offer a refreshing complimentary welcome rum punch cocktail featuring Belize’s famous local Caribbean rum. With lovely wide beaches, a seaside tropical bar, the only beach bowling in Belize and a luxurious pool which visitors and guests alike say is the cleanest and largest on the island, we’re sure you will enjoy Royal Caribbean Resort.

Our full-service concierge desk is always available to arrange whatever you may want or need be it an in-room massage, bicycle or golf car rental or any tours you would like. The dive and tour operators pick up and drop off all our guests. Some of our services and many of the available activities and excursions from sea fun such as snorkeling, SCUBA and windsurfing to jungle adventure including Mayan Ruins, treks in the rain forest, zip lining, etc, will be further explained below.

Regarding excursions, we highly recommend the Lamanai Mayan Ruins – a spectacular day including a unique ride in the Mangrove Rivers and mainland inlets with unusual vegetation and fauna. The Ruins rival Tikal in Guatemala in expansiveness; remnants of the entire city remain making this an exciting and cost-effective excursion.

Another personal recommendation is the Zip Lining and Cave Tubing day in the rain forest. This is a truly amazing experience using professional gear to explore the canopy of the rain forest zip lining amongst 8 tree-top platforms surrounded by the lush jungle. This is followed by a hike into the rainforest to reach a solitary point in the river at the entrance of an ancient cave. Wearing head lights you enter the cool, fresh river water in tubes and gently float into these dark caves once traveled by the Maya. The stalactites and crystalline stone, cavernous heights and low ceilings, deep areas and shallow pebbled floor guide you thru to the rapids and then into another magnificent cave. The 40-min ride is simply spectacular.
