Hotel Looks quite pleasant from the outside. Lounge area neat and tidy. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food. We stayed in Room Nr 8 - room was quite small. The carpets were disgusting and not at all clean. The sink in the bathroom was cracked right through, the carpet in the bathroom was disgusting and the floorboards sunk when stood on. The room we stayed in certainly wasn't worth the £86 that the hotel was charging. The room we were in could be doing with a total revamp - including uplifting and replacing the floorboards to bring it up to a much better standard.

Very PleasedFound the Rosemount Hotel by chance via laterooms and booked the junior suite. Excellent accommodation consisiting of lovely bedroom, luxury bathroom (shower only) and tasteful lounge complete with LCD tv's, hi fi, beautiful brown leather sofa / couch. Throughly enjoyed the stay. Found the staff to be helpful and friendly, a hearty breakfast in the morning and very good value for money. Would certainly return to the same room in the future and recommend to friends and family. Perfect room for a romantic break.

Traditional hotel a little on the expensive sideWe had a two night stay. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was "chintzy" - very nice and I loved the stencilled decorations on the walls. A better command of English by the breakfast staff would have made things easier when my son wanted plain tap water (which he did get, by the way).

Rosemont - friendly welcome for Etape cyclistsVery friendly hotel who did all they could to help the many cyclists staying the weekend feel welcome, including emailing in advance to find what we would like for meals and getting up very early on Sunday to get us breakfast. Will definitely return.

Friendly and comfortable hotelWe were made very welcome and quickly shown to our room which was very pleasant. The evening meal was well coooked and whilst the menu was a little limited in choice I would far rather have that than an unenjoyable meal. And it means the evening meal is a reasonable price. Breakfast was superb.Attention given to our needs throughout the stay in an efficient, friendly and calm mannerVery close to town centre and all in all I recommend Rosemount.

the hotel itself was in need of upgrading in terms of decor - we were given a refurbished room whilst decorated nicely - very small even for a couple. all that said the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble - definitely worth a stay!

weekend stayNice place to stay Room a little on small side for two people. Breakfast had plenty on cereal choices., etc Buffet for rest of breakfast wasn't always kept filled up considering there were approx 17 rooms filled. You had to wait for some of the items to be refilled.

when we booked up at the rosemount hotel we were told that there was a games room for the children which was none extinct which was just as well we were only there for one night because there isnt anything to keep children occupied also in the hotels imformation pack they say hot food is served up to 10.o clock at night when we asked if we could have some hot food at 8, o clock the response was negative and all they could give us was a ham sandwich which is no good to any body expeicaly people with children they should not have things in the infopack if they are not going to abide by them yours james curry

Overnight Romantic StayCheck in was after 3pm, arrived at 3.30pm, rung the bell a number of times and had to wait over 10mins for someone to come and check us in. Hotel and rooms a bit old fashioned - feel decor needs an upgrade. Room facilities very basic, portable TV, hairdryer and Tea & coffee, you could hire a DVD player! Room also cold, even with radiator on the whole time, toilet fan very noisy. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was lovelly. Dined outwith the hotel so cannot comment on evening meals or bar area, although it looked nice. All in all, it was fine for an overnight - for us anyway.

A Night in PitlochryA warm welcome and a lovely room is what we were greeted with on our arrival. Definately recommend the Junior Suite { although it could do with a bath}. Breakfast was fairly basic but well cooked. Would definately revisit.

family friendly hotelThe rooms that are up dated are very nice. I would recommend the junior suite for family accommodation, the two rooms are useful if your children go to bed at 7.30! They cater very well for young children, I have rarely found hotels as welcoming. A few minor negative points, no bath, but our 18 month old fitted in the sink, the water pressure was not quite high enough for the type of shower, hopefully they will sort that out as they continue to improve the hotel. I would also suggest that the bar and food while good and not being expensive, was available to a high standard locally for a little less, so we didn't use the hotel as much as we would have done otherwise. I would go again, and perhaps use the town as a stop over for traveling further north, it has a lot to offer and a great whisky shop!

We had the most fabulous weekend at the Rosemount Hotel. Owners and staff were second t none, nothing was a problem to them. It was very cold when we arrived and an extra heater and douvet were provided for us if we needed them but once in bed we were as warm as toast. Cleanliness , meals and care was superb. A very friendly hotel, we will cettainly be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and service was excellent. It was very cold (minus something) when we were there but the room was very cosy, however, the bathroom had no heating, apart from a heated bulb, and it was freezing during the night. The breakfast was excellent and very well organised with a tick box list to choose from. The owner of the hotel was lovely and made your stay personal to her. The views from this hotel are absolutely amazing and well worth getting up early to see the sun hitting the hills. It was further from the main street than I thought and quite steep hills, however, this did not hinder my enjoyment.

We received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the proprietor or her staff. A pleasant and comfortable stay was enjoyed by all of us, I would definitely use the hotel again if back in that area.

The only critisism I have is that I was unable to check in before 4:00PM. It would not have been such a problem though, had the day not been so cold and wet.
