Wonderful time at the hotel. The most comfortable bed and sheets. However, when I booked the hotel i thought it was all inclusive since all my paper work stated all inclusive, but when i got to the hotel it was room only price. So when I got to the hotel I had to pay additional money for the all inclusive plan. They did give me a discount. No snacks for the late night folks like me.

Great pool, lazy river, slides. $58 dinner buffet - too expensive. Very short drive from the airport. Huge pool - kids enjoyed the slides and the lazy river. The room had a nice view, I liked the room furnishings, and the bathroom was nice. The dinner buffet was very nice, but very expensive. The only alternative was room service, which was fine for breakfast.

Having been on cruises and other all-inclusive resort vacations , my only complaint was the food was only OK, not great. Poolside snacks and lunches where good, but the dinners where disappointing. We stayed 5 days and could only get reservations for two nights at their restaurants, even though they never filled all the tables. So the cafeteria got old quick. The waterpark was a great hit for my 8 year old and the beaches where beautiful! This was a great place for families and we had a great time!

The hotel was an excellent choice for our family reunion. The location was great the gym facility was adequate for the hotel always available equipment for use. Enjoyed the power walks @ 7 am with a trainer, view breath-taking. The rooms were spacious and well kept bedding was comfortable and clean. Lazy River and pool was spectacular as was the scenery from all vantage point. Hotel club could use some improvement. Teens and young children were there way pass midnight also smoking was permitted in the club which was too small to try to get away from inhaling the fumes. Warm and friendly staff always helpful and courteous. If you are not familar with the area strongly recommend the all inclusive deal. Plan on making this our vacation destination whenever we are in Jamaica.

the hotel is a beautiful resort with a beautiful rooms, full cable and beautiful pools and activities on the actual resort. The beach is not swimmable so don't go there if you would like to go to the beach however there are so many activities on the actual resort is enough to keep you occupied. they even have a waterslide, 3 jacuzzi's, a lazy pool a regular pool etc. There is a nightclub, game room, computers, the hotel has everything that you need in that one spot. My only complaint is that entertainment was constantly just amateur singers, the last night had the best entertainment, a full show was provided. food was okay but otherwise the resort caters to everyone. it was very nice.

The staff is incredible! Everything was great! I went there with my 6-year little girl and our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The facilities were top notch and there are many things to do during the day. Although we stayed there, we preferred to hang out in the mountains for most of our vacation and everything worked out great because they have their own private drivers which will take you wherever you want (this is extra, of course). Would totally stay there and highly recommend it!

We stayed at Rose Hall and it was an awesome experience. Everyone was very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were clean, great view of the courtyard and beach. We ate most meals there and the food was always very good, never had anything there we did not like. The concierge helped arrange us to get a personal guide for a day of adventure off the resort since we could not find a "tour" that met what all we wanted to do. Our guide - was great. We went as a group of friends all female and we always felt safe and well cared for. We would all highly recommend any one or any family to stay here. I have even recommended it for my daughters honeymoon. IT WAS AN AWESOME TIME FOR ALL!

Wow! This Hotel Was excellent, It was more than I expected, this was my first time to Jamaica, and my first vacation booked on line, I was a liite apprehencive. Once we arrived I knew I had made the wright decision. I highly recommend doing the all inclusive. This hotel is beautiful, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very professional and concern about our overall satisfaction. The food was excellent. I couldn't wait to come back and give this review. This was one of the best vacation me and my family have ever been on, we look forward to retuning back and staying at the Rose Hall Resort. The bed was so confortable, the rooms where beautiful clean, a high class hotel. There's something for everybody, activities all day for everyone kids and adults. Live entertainment every night. I can't say enough about this Hotel. I was extremely impress and very happy.

Have been to many resorts/hotels in the region and this hotel is by far the best. The pool area is like a water park at the hotel, it will really impress you. This place is by far the best.

Clean, comfortable and fun. Air conditioner in room was noisy. My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time here with our two daughters ages 4.5 and 2. The water-park was a blast, out daughters loved the bands that played in the evenings, the restaurants were good and one, and the staff was friendly, helpful and very professional. The only problem we had was a noisy air conditioner in our room which maintenance came promptly when I called after the first night to repair although it needed more than a quick fix. Had we been staying longer than three days, I would have asked to move rooms and I am sure the hotel would have happily accommodated that request, but it wasn't bad enough to justify spending time to move. All is all an excellent trip.

My husband and I have planned to take a trip to Jamaica for the longest time and are very happy that we picked this resort for our honeymoon. Our experience was excellent!!! The room was not only clean but beautiful and cozy, the service from everyone was fantastic, and the food and drinks were excellent. We paid for an oceanfront view with a balcony but we have the Hilton Honors membership and received a free upgrade to an oceanfront patio which was very nice because we were able to walk right onto the beach from our room. The front desk was very accommodating, they were able to fit us in for Three Palms and Luna Del Mar even though they were booked (Luna is EXCELLENT, we ate there twice and would have eaten there every night if we could). The water park is amazing, we had such a good time on the lazy river and loved the fact that the water slides shoots you right to the swim-up bar. The only upset was that all the restaurants and room service closed at 11:00 pm, because my husband and I are night owls. The other downfall that we experienced is that we couldn't take advantage of the water activities that was included in our package because the water was very chopping and was not able to go out onto the boats but that is not the fault of the resort but of Mother Nature. Our overall experience was excellent and would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you for an amazing experience in Jamaica and look forward to visiting again which is already in the planning process. This resorts definitely feels like a home away from home.

The hotel is beautiful, modern and well kept. The staff was friendly and professional at all times. We went with a family of four and had two young children, 7 and 4.. We opted not to get the all inclusive and it worked out well for us, especially since my husband doesn't drink and I rarely do. Instead of paying approx. As for activities, the adult activities were often cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather. The nightly entertainment was mediocre and not very diverse. The resort does not allow you to borrow games after 5pm, so I'd recommend bringing your own family games. As for children activities, they were engaging and variable for little kids. The room the children were in was very small and located back in a remote area of the hotel, which took some getting used to. However, the staff was friendly, used the space well and was very open to having us pop in and out. Pleasantly to our surprise, the hotel also has a game room with WII and other games appropriate for all ages. The food was good, not great, but good. The breakfast buffet and lunch by the main pool was always good. We opted not to do the evening buffet for 52/person. It appeared to be the same thing most nights so instead we just ordered an entre from the buffet for room service. Overall, this is a nice resort, however, if you want something more child friendly, I'd do a little more research.

We had a short 4 day stay during my 10 year old dauhgters Spring Break; we needed two more days. My mother, daughter and I all had a great time, relaxing and playing. We actually intend on going back with my brother and his family, soon. This trip was about my daughter having fun in the sun, and indeed she did; and so did we. The water park was a HUGE hit for us all; my daughter quickly made friends and they played on the beach, in the pool and at the water park together. I enjoyed the swim up bar at the water park. You have to get your beachside seating early, but there were plenty areas for relaxing. My mom enjoyed the morning water aerobics class. The staff was friendly, the food was good; I have no real complaints, I only wish I had planned a longer stay! We tried almost all but one restaurant. The buffet was nice and easy; and I always believe the all-inclusive route is the way to go. This was third time in Jamaica and my first stay in Montego Bay; I have seen prettier beaches, but it was cool for us. I think this is a great place for families with kids.

A really nice place. Nothing really amazing, but it's nicely decorated and very clean. If you go here, definitely do the all-inclusive plan, because it's almost impossible to get food without it and is much more expensive (i.e. $53 per person for a buffet dinner). Room was comfy... get an ocean view room or you'll be staring at the rooftop of the lobby. The pool was nice if not fancy. There is wait service at poolside. I like that there is the "regular" pool where mostly adults hang out aside from the big waterpark type area with inner tubes and slides for families and kids. The beach is not very big, but is pretty. The Italian restaurant is excellent. Very good food. Just remember to make a reservation prior to 11 a.m.! Service is slow everywhere else, but hey, it's the caribbean.

I went in May with my daughters (18 & 25) and we had a fantastic time. Loved the hotel (Although our first room smelled of smoke, we were quickly moved into a room with a better view) and the lazy river pool. My best advice is to get the all inclusive!!! We didn't because we're not really big eaters, but found that, at least for breakfast, the only option besides room service is the breakfast buffet. Cost for 3 of us was 70 - a lot of money for a waffle or an omelet!!! We did go into town for dinner one night, which we likely wouldn't have is we were on the all inclusive. The restaurant (The Native) sent a car to pick us up/take us back and the food was excellent and the price very reasonable (60 for 3 - less than our hotel breakfast!!) Make dinner reservations at the hotel as soon as you arrive or it's hard to get the time you want. Dinner at Luna was fabulous! Hotel staff very friendly. We were disappointed that the shops at Rose Hall were primarily jewelry stores and that roundtrip cab fare to shop in town was 50. I do recommend a cab from the airport so that you don't have to wait for the bus. That cost us 25 each way. We took the Rapsody catamaran cruise and were very pleased with it. Didn't realize we got a stop at Margaritaville, so that was a nice surprise. All in all a really excellent trip and we would definitely go back to Rose Hall.

We chose the all-inclusive option which was great since we didn't want to have to find meals on our own outside of the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was very responsive to our needs. The kids loved taking part in all of the activies available(kayaking, swimming, ping-pong, scavenger hunt)..and they didn't even join the kids' club that is available!

Our entire experience was wonderful! Check-in went quickly and staff was helpful. Our room on the golf course side was quiet and the view, especially the sunset was gorgeous! The food was excellent, selection quite amazing. We were very appreciative of opportunity to experience some Jamacian cuisine "tamed a bit" for our palates. Do go to the specialty restaurants. Italian restaurant was especially good. The view at the golf course was special. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire property, bathrooms in various settings were all immaculate. One elevator was out and made waiting time longer. Entertainment some nights better than others....Sunday night steel drums, dancing and entertaining were excellent. Marshmellow roast and folk music really fun. Our son and his family were there too and we all found staff to be very gracious, activities for all of us. Water aerobics fun and helpful, next time I'll add yoga. We took advantage of pool, water park, hot tub, and ocean. Staff very gracious. Hopefully we will be back next year with even more family. Thanks so much for a great experience!

This is a nice hotel with a small beach. The water sports are fun. We stayed a week, which was almost too long as the activities repeat themselves, but it would be great for a long weekend. The food was marginal. We did not do the all inclusive and we ended up saving about 700 because we don't drink much. We took advantage of the free shuttles to the restaurants downtown to eat. Pier 1 was the best! Housekeepping needs work. They never replaced the towels they took so we ended up having to ask for them. But they are friendly! The rooms were extremely clean and the workout area is awesome! The golf course walk in the morning was challenging. As with all resorts we have stayed in, you need to get up around 6:00 to save some chairs during spring break. This is standard people, so don't whine about it to the employees (like one annoying guest did for 4 days straight in the loudest voice possible). We hired a driver to take us to Negril for the day. Go to Rick's for the cliff jumping. We also did the canopy tour which was a blast. The staff was great! The shops downtown on the "hip strip" are terrible. They all have the same stuff and are dirty and junky. We ended up buying a few carvings from the roadside stands and a few things from Ricks, but that's about it. There is security everywhere so it is fairly safe on the street but don't venture off.
