Apartment in DubrovnikRooms Vicelic met us at the airport as arranged (a useful service) and took us to our room right in the centre of Dubrovnik. We were only staying one night and so we were asked to pay on arrival and then we just left the room the next morning. Room fine but the WC and shower were down a flight of stairs. The room was just off the main street and so a little noisy but well placed for a quick evening meal and breakfast the next morning.

A lovely, friendly small hotelAnka, the owner, is very friendly and offers great advice for her city. The hotel is up a small quiet street (the only disadvantage is a number of steps if you have heavy luggage). Our room had been well decorated and equipped for this type of hotel (TV and a good shower ensuite). Coffee making facilities are available too but the hotel is very close to bars and cafes. It is beautifully located within the city walls and ideal for city walks, travelling to the local island resorts and evenings out in the city's restaurants and bars.

What a darhlingAnka the owner was very helpful and warm. Coffee making making facility and bisuits provided. The location is ideal off the main drag but the steps are steep so one could work off the meals.

Basic and faultlessIf you want to stay in the old part of Dubrovnic, and don't want to spend a fortune, Rooms Vicelic is perfect. It's not the most glamorous place to stay, but it was spotless and very comfortable. we arrived late and the owner came to meet us at the city gates

Beautiful Local HomeOur stay here was fantastic, we were met at the bottom of the street personally by Anka who runs the guest house, who boasts the best customer service and helped with our luggage up the steps to our room. Our room was an en-suite and had a wonderfully comfortable bed with towels and sheets provided, with clean towels always being available if we needed to. Our window opened up onto the beautiful narrow steep streets which lead down to the main Stradun, outside the guest house is also where you could meet the other travellers staying here and share stories and experiences. There was tea and coffee not to mention biscuits always available throughout our stay and the kitchen to use when we needed to. The location was brilliant, the fourth street in from Pele Gate and located up some steep steps, but this adds to the fantastic experience of Rooms Vicelic. Perfect! I would recommend this to anyone unless you have difficulty walking! Anka makes your stay feel really personal and she was delightful to talk to, even arranging a lift back to the airport with her family members :D

Right in the middle of the Old TownWe had a great 3 days in Dubrovnik enhanced by staying here, rooms are basic yet comfortable with ensuite facilities. Aneka is a great hostess with an enthusiasm for everything. It was good to stay somewher authentic rather than a faceless hotel outside the walls.
