My friend and I travelled to Rooms and were really happy with the quality and price of the hotel. Amazing location, very clean rooms with a/c, professional staff, and security, including a deposit box in the room. Smokin!!!!

After reading many reviews on other sites.. some good and some not so good, I decided to book my stay at Rooms Negril. We were there in mid March '09. Definitely the best spot on the beach! Its a refurbished place (formerly Negril Inn). The rooms were nice and very clean. Flat screen tv. Huge glass enclosed shower. In room safe. Patios. This place is whatever you want it to be. Directly on the beach, quiet, peaceful, secure grounds. But right in the heart of the action. Alfreds, Bourbon Beach, Wavs, The Jungle, Roots Bamboo and Times Square duty free mall are all a couple of minutes away on foot. The restaurant is called Senitas and they have good food. The grounds are emaculate... very well kept. Security guards truly care about what goes on and documents your excursions off the property. This place has a private beach behind a low wall with plenty of shade if desired from the beautiful coconut trees, or the public beach area that is still mostly hotel stayers... not a HUGE place... just VERY NICE. There was a live reggae band that performed in the evenings at the restaurant/bar area if you wanted to stay away from the larger crowds at more popular places.

This was a great way to spend our first wedding anniversary. The staff was pleasant and friendly, the food was great, the environment was clean. I would highly reccoment this place to anyone. Also, the meals were adequate serving, very delicious and at a great price. My wife and I decide that we will definitely go back.

This was my first hot destination trip. The Pros: *beautiful clean, sandy beach and ocean. *staff at hotel very nice *clean, comfy and private rooms with flat screen TV, AC and king beds. *continental breafast was the same everyday whole wheat toast, pinapple, corn flakes, rice krispes , juice and coffee-no eggs or peanut butter insight. *hotel eco-friendly; only if your want fresh towles or bedding changed they will do it but is not necessary to wash sheets/towels daily. Even had low watt light bulbs. *felt safe while in town exploring The Cons *got hussled daily while walking on 7 mile beach *reggae music playing all day and night , usually from 10am to 3am along the beaches sometimes at resort. *taxi drivers constantly stopping to offer overpriced rides into town Overall we had a good time, the resort was secure, clean and staff were kind. What I found to be a challenge was the constant bugging to purchase local foods and gifts. After a few days you can cope. Things to remember: *be polite but firm to locals. *don't over pay for taxi rides, they should cost $200 JA $$ not $40 US *bring +50 sunscreen *bring your fav snacks, they are hard to come by *bring lots of books, sunhat and a few bathing suits. *take advantage of all water sports, especially snorkelling.

My stay at Rooms on the Beach was simply great. The staff was pleasant and catered to my needs. The beach was outstanding! The price was great! Location is right in the middle of Negril 7 mile beach which was super!

I stayed at this hotel, from Feb 23rd-26 2009. The rooms are clean,the hotel is right on the beach,the water is clean and the hotel staff are wonderfull and always try to work out any issues you may have. On the beach there were no issues with any vendors or anyone else,it's not a big issue as some people make it out to be, if you don't need anything just say no thanks and the vendors move on. I think some people are just to picky. Towels do take a while to get back to your room after they're picked up by house keeping,minor issue,and you can always take the beach towels to your room if needed. Water pressure was good ,the AC worked and there was no shortage of hot water.The hotel is located within walking distance of bars, restaurants,jerk stands and a convienence store (Shamrock).Miss Sonia's restaurant across from the hotel has good food and on your way from the airport ask your driver to stop at the pork pit for some authentic and delicious jerk.I would recommend a private driver instead of the bus,that way you can stop to eat ,change money and you set the pace. Go have fun and have an open mind.

rooms negril, is perfect for a quick stay at a place where you want easy access to the beach restaurants and plan to spend most of your time outside. the rooms are simple but very clean and comes with a beautiful bathroom, flat screen tv, ac and cable channels. the staff are very pleasant and helpful. enjoyed my stay

This resort was perfectly located in the middle of 7 mile beach! It's within walking distance of everything from restaurants to the roundabout and beyond. It was totally remodeled late last year. The staff was trained well and they "get it". Ahhh The Beach, The Breeze, The West Indies, I call It Paradise.... Our room had a modern glass enclosed shower with the best water pressure anywhere, A flat screen TV mounted on the wall and satellite service, free breakfast, a private beach, easy access to the public beach and did I mention the staff was very cool...We stayed here in Nov. 08 and will be back in June 09...

Girls getaway, hotel location on seven mile beach ideal. We were able to walk to bars and restaurants right on beach! The price was excellent and the rooms were adorable. One of the group had stayed before when it was Negril Inn and could not believe the amazing transformation. We had a great time and the continental breakfast was perfect! The tiki bar by the pool was tons of fun! Would definitely recommend and return.

Rooms Negril is located right on 7-mile beach The location couldn't be any better! Rooms are terrific and have flat screen TV's. The bathrooms were just remodeled and so were the rooms. The continental breakfast is very nice and exactly as one would expect. The resort is in close proximity to downtown Negril and has lots of local restaurants to eat at within walking distance. This resort is great for people who don't want all-inclusive and want a great room on a great beach.
