Cleaning staff does not speak English. We looked at several rooms and none are consistent with size or furnishings. It's hit or miss to find a tolerable room. The bathrooms look like they were put together by some drunk illegal Mexican and tiles were uneven and dirty looking. Furniture is cheap and looks abused. Very noisy at night with stupid drunk people screaming and fighting that you can hear down the hall. I don't recommend unless you're a drunken partier who doesn't give a crap.

This hotel is a no-no: (1) No lobby, (2) No 24 hour housekeeping and there was a consistent lack of towels that caused repeated requests for additional towels, (3) No bell hops or concierge, (4) Small rooms with only enough room to turn around, (5) Telephones rarely worked with their antiquated system, (6) Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything, (7) * per day to park, (8) N My family and I stayed at this hotel in South Beach over the Labor Day weekend. When we arrived, there was no one to help us with the luggage. We left the hotel and arrived back only to find that the A/C was not working properly, the sink was stopped up with gook and leaking, no light was in the closet, restroom looked like it was done in the 1960's, the telephone did not work, and no ice bucket. We complained to the front desk rep, Louisa and she was a real B and didn't want to be bothered. We were moved to another room, which was a little better because it at least had ceiling fan where the other room did not have one. We also experienced the guests next door to us smoking weed which could be smelled in our room because of the opening at the bottom of the door that separated the rooms. We also had problems with their TV being left on with the volume up for an extensive period of time and the front desk guy at night acted as if there was nothing that he could do about it. This hotel is not one that you would want to stay at because of its many inadequacies and terrible customer service. If you are looking for a Days Inn type of hotel, then this is it.

We reserved the Waldorf for location. The Waldorf moved us 4 blocks away to a 1 star 'sister hotel'. BUYER BEWARE!
