The Room Mate Waldorf hotel, designed by world-renowned architect Albert Anis in 1937, sits close to the white sands of Miami Beach with beach towels provided. Compass Cafe is a tranquil European-style cafe with outdoor seating a variable menu including pizza, salads, sandwiches, etc. Room service is available. There are various other restaurants in the immediate area providing a wealth of American and ethnic cuisine. The multilingual, professional, and courteous staff provides personalized service. Such services include dry cleaning and laundry, valet parking, car hire, and security. There is a gift shop on site with various souvenirs (shells, shirts, honey, etc). Also on site is a small business center and meeting room with comfortable function space. Small pets are permitted, as are children.

What transport is available to get around?: The hotel itself does not have a shuttle. The South Beach area is easily accessible by foot. There are also taxis available at all times. It is located only 9 miles from the airport which is about a $30 cab ride. From the hotel to Downtown Miami is less than 6 miles, about $25 cab ride. The South Beach and Downtown areas are great for shopping and in South Beach there is a strip mall called Lincoln Road which is only 1 mile from the hotel. The beach is only across the street from the hotel.
What can I do nearby?: Room Mate Waldorf is located in the heart of South Beach; the hotel has many bars and lounges near its location.
