Good value for moneyStayed here with my sister and her two kids. We had the family room which was spotlessly clean, large, light and airy. Very nice place in a not very nice area, but this didn't matter as we'd only come down for the night and were out all day. Breakfast was adequate and plentifuly, with a help yourself kitchen area with toast, cereals and croissants. A nice lounge area near our room meant we could have a glass of wine once the kids were in bed. Great value for money and a friendly service.

best kept secret in WolvertonGreat stay at this b&b. good central location, walking distance from train station. very nicely decorated rooms and excellent self-service breakfast. would definitely stay here again.

Roman RoomsWould describe as a good value B&B. No reception and not manned. You ring for access and directions to your key. Breakfast is continental which you make yourself in the kitchen. Not very well sign posted so difficult to find from the street - had to ask for directions. Parking not ideal, limited and tight. Street very noisey at night so we got very little sleep - obviously not hoteliers fault.

Family friendly place to stayRoman Rooms was a great place to stay for a family of five. We usually struggle to find a room for 2 adults and 3 children. We don't want separate rooms yet because the children are only little. So this was a great room. It had a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on the top and our three daughters loved it.The room was lovely and very welcoming, the chocs on the bed were a lovely touch and we all loved the lounge area. The kitchen had all you needed to make breakfast and the children really appreciated the croissants.

Grand prix weekend accomodationThe accommodation at Roman Rooms was superb, just what was required for the weekend. Layout of the building very good, with comfy bedrooms and beds. As this was for the Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone, 30 to 40mins away we were suitably located, as it can be hard to find somewhere so well positioned during this event. The idea of the self service was required for this type of weekend when having to get up early, and get out. Plenty of food and drink options in the kitchen for breakfast.

A fantastic findWe stayed in the family room, it was beautifully done, en-suite imaculate. A fantastic find for a family, I wish there were more of this quality around. Undoubtedly value for money. We called the owner on arrival and he showed us our room and the breakfast room. We found plenty of food for breakfast and washed up afterwards, everything was so clean it would have been a shame to leave dirty pots. Very friendly welcome would definately come back.

Friendly, Clean and well located.We had a great time, nice easy going hotel. Good breakfast and kitchen facilities. We had a few takeaways, which are very close by, and took them back to the lounge dining area with some nice wine we took along.

An unattended 'hotel' quite strange in a back lane. there was undercover parking for the car which would be god if a frosty night. Breakfast was a do it yourself downstairs away from the entrance. I didn't notice a direction sign which would be helpful as the bedrooms are upstairs and I came across the kitchen by searching. I would prefer individual portion of jams and Mamite rather than open jars. One real objection to a pleasant room with an excellent bathroom was the squeaky metal framed bed and rather saggy matress.

Good value for moneyFrom the outside the hotel does not look great however when you get inside the accomodation it is very pleasant. The room was good and was well worth the extra five pounds for the superior room - much larger and more attractive than the standard rooms. The owners were attentive and helpful. There is an attractive sitting room to use and a kitchen. It really suited my requirements.

the hotel is very basic, good value for money. the only draw back, is the pub next door, they had loud music playing till 2am in the morning. must confess, its very clean hotel.

Really very pleasant staff and rooms are great value, but a bit off the beaten track and not too much around for food, would have to go into MK to have some choice.

tucked around the back of the high street so quiet. No resteurant in hotel but nice indian restaurant near. hotel has a self service clean kitchen with help yourself breakfast so great for people who dont need or want the full english thing.
