The room was clean enough, but not very fresh. As it had been a really hot week, it would have been nice if they'd put the air conditioning on in the rooms that were reserved. It took all night for it to become bearable. Also, the shower head was really low and we are taller people. We had to aim the head towards the back wall which made it spray all over. When trying to "Mapquest" directions, your motel did not come up.

Good location and friendly staff. The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms with an excellent location to the highway that I was traveling.

I stay at Rodeway Inn so many times. For my last stay I am extremely satisfied with Room condition and service provided by front desk staff. I ask front desk about this and they told me new management took over this motel and did renovation on all room. New Bed, paint. Front desk staff was ready to help any time. Excellent location every thing close to motel. I would recommend this motel to all my friends and relative.

We attended the Midwest Renewable Energy Association Fair in Custer and just wanted an inexpensive room and a good night sleep. We stayed at the right place. The room cost about half of what some others were going for, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, close to many eating establishments, and although it is an older hotel, the room was clean and didn't smell. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They also had wireless internet though we didn't use it. The hotel isn't luxurious (you could see some damage from probably before it changed hands) but they were repaired, everything was functional, there was a relatively new TV, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Not 1 good thing. Continental breakfast consisted of Twinkies, zingers, coffee, apples and bananas and a few day old donuts. The room was filthy. Washcloth for us to share and not enough towels. Somebody's used razor laying on bathroom floor, bathroom floor was not swept, giant gross booger wiped down bathroom wall. Why was this not cleaned up?

Outside all redone, looks great. Room needed some updating, AC did not work. Iron was provided but no ironing board. Bathroom was outdated. Bed was rock hard. Sheets had burn holes in them. Desk staff was friendly but couldn't understand him.

The room was warm. The room was dirty, the shower head didn't work, and we found spiders around the bed. The hotel was marginal. I would not stay there again. The mattresses were older, the room barely cleans enough, and the shower head did not work. W.

The deadblot in the room door was inoperative and the bed linen appeared to have been left over from the previous stay as there was hair in the bed that was not from me. The continental breakfast consisted of cold coffee in a thermos and dry cereal with no milk. The desk agent seemed very surly when I asked for milk for the cereal. Additionally, the room keys had to be reprogrammed every time they were used which called for a trip to the office at least twice a day. This place is definately NOT recommended by me at any price!

We attended a family members wedding. As for something missing, yes, a citco gas station closed all their pumps by 7pm to wait to raise THEIR prices as they had to wait until midnight!!! BAD BUSINESS on Main st.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The beds were more comfortable than I expected. Pets were welcome. The room was cleaner than I expected from the outside appearance. They didn't have my reservation though I had confirmation? So I didn't get what I reserved. If you're looking for a relatively cheap place to stay and aren't concerned about amenities - it's fine. The decor is quite outdated and there were holes in the walls in the bathroom from previous remodels? Not sure. The rooms were soundproof enough and they did accept pets - though I found out later many of the other hotels did also. And it was clean- not spotless but acceptably clean.

Hotel was clean but room had a weird smell to it. Price was very reasonable for the night. We just needed a place to crash between Freestyle & Greco State Wrestling Tournaments...appeared several wrestlers stayed there...very close to High School where tournament was at.

The bed was very comfortable. Firm but not hard. Small bathroom and sink area. Confining. Easy to get to right on the main road. Hard to understand proprietor. Asked for first floor was given second floor until she actually read the reservation. It was a pleasant experience no major issues and restful.

This so called motel is the worst place that I have ever "attempted" to stay. I will never, ever stay at another econolodge. I was unable to access my room with the key. I had to get the clerk to rekey my card every time I left the room. I had to buy my own towels and toiletries. No maid service. I asked and was told by the clerk that I was a complainer and needed to handle my own business. I left the motel and reserved a real room in another motel for the remainder of my trip. The clerk at the econolodge said that I had four people in my room. It was only myself and my wife. I am a seasoned traveler and have never had an experience as econolodge. I am filing a complaint with the wisconsin inn association and the better business bureau and also the chamber of commerce. traverlers take heed. This hotel is not clean nor is it updated. It is a last resort. I would prefer to sleep in my car!
