Do Not Stay Here!! I booked online, then called weeks before we stayed to confirm non-smoking 2 bed room. We were given a room with one bed. I attempted to call, but the phone did not work. So, I loaded everything back into the car, back to the front desk. The staff was apologetic, but no other room available. They brought in a roll-away bed. When we attempted to leave the room, the door would not lock. So, we loaded up all our stuff once again, headed back to the office. Told the staff that the door would not lock, and the phone did not work. The guy said he would look into it. The next morning when we checked out, the same guy was there, told him I was not happy about our stay. He insisted that I did not call and confirm, even though I had noted the date, time and person I had confirmed with. He continued to argue with me. I told him he lost a customer, and turned to walk out the office, while he continued to argue that it was all my fault. DO NO STAY AT THIS MOTEL!!!

the front desk service was very good and friendly, the room was tollerable, but the details were not good. there was a chair in the room with a very suspicious stain, which we avoided at all costs... not a good one for having a child in, which is why we would not stay there again. it was a convienient location in the city--easy to find in corvallis, and near a lot of things, but i think that even on our small budget, we would choose to spend more next time. However, this was the only hotel in corvallis that had a reservation at short notice for the dates we were in town for a funeral, so we were grateful just to have a place to stay.

The Econo-Lodge in Corvallis shows it's age, but it is clean and very convenient to Downtown Corvallis. As you come into town from North Albany, there is a Holiday Inn on the River, a Super 8, and the Econo-Lodge. All are very close to the Willamette River on 2nd Street. It is a short walk to the charming downtown area where you can find art, books, coffee (The Beanery), music shops (Troubador, Fingerboard Extension, Gracewinds), a couple of bakeries (maybe more), and a nice selection of restaurants (Zia, Sunnyside Up, Big River, ...) On Saturdays until the middle or end of November, there is a wonderful farmers' market on 1st Street and an accompanying artisants' market that also has local music. Corvallis is a great town for tunes, and many talented folks live there, particularly in the folk and Celtic realm. For my money, the hotel was a good stop.

This is absolutely a "no frills" facility, but the bed (a king in our case) was great, there was a television with so-so reception, a phone and little else. It was very clean, which was important to us. No pictures on the walls, no clock, and truly awful WIFI reception. Office staff occasionally didn't answer the phone, but it was inexpensive (and did I mention clean?) We'd stay there again, but only if the only thing we planned to do in the motel was sleep - no business laptop work, no "hanging out.

The hotel was easy to find, had lots of well-lit parking, safe area, halls and room were very clean and did not smell bad. The heater worked well (with a remote!), the bed was very comfortable, and we will definitely stay again! Breakfast was just donuts and coffee so we got breakfast elsewhere.

Hotel was old and musty. However, it was cleaner than some of the finer hotels and the beds were very comfortable.

Room was clean but small and bed comfortable enough. It is an older motel and reasonably priced. (Formerly Rodeway) Nothing fancy. Breakfast bar has only bagels and doughnuts in the lobby. We'd rate it as a two star.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was very cooperative, we had a great river-view, and the HD TV was awesome!
