We were on our way to Milwaukee and stayed in EC to break up the trip. We dined at Bostons,which was right next door,and had beer on the patio after we ate. Good beer prices on a Monday night! Very nice patio and great service:) The location was perfect for getting back to I-94.

They allowed us to check in early even though they had a strict check in time. Fridge was sitting unplugged and a nice but large recliner sitting in the doorway. It was a very nice room when all we were going to do was sleep. There was a large channel selection and the pool looked very nice but unfortunately wasn't able to use it. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy room to stay for a night or two.

The beds were comfortable. Moldy smelling towels, dated decor. The hotel should have been more updated. The towels were like sandpaper and smelled moldy. We opted not to shower. The decor was very outdated and doors were falling apart. Could not use chain lock on outer door because the molding it was attached to was coming away from the wall? The breakfast was stale and unappealing. Would not stay her again. Have stayed in other hotels in this town for $10-20 more that were much better and worth the extra $'s. Did not use the pool.

Comfortable bed. TP like pinecones! Shower gave surprise scalds! Did not look for item we lost in room. Called 3 times. Each time nobody had checked lost & found yet. Conveniently located in Eau Claire, this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Don't let the pretty pool or comfortable bed fool you. Or, for that matter, the sign on vanity that reads 'Towels under Vanity' because that's not where the towels are! Decor is dark and creepy. But it's clean. Customer service seems to be beyond their grasp. Both their bath tissues and toilet paper are hard and scratchy as pine cones. Staff seem pleasant enough, but they try to bill for 2 day stay when you only booked one. They are not helpful when you lose an item in their rooms. Each person we talked to on 3 separate calls did not know we had called/were looking for a lost item. The place is not that large of an establishment for receptionists not to get the previous messages. There appears to be no lost and found. Items lost are just gone. You're better off staying anywhere else.
