This motel was a short walk to the Gaslamp district. I live 40 miles from downtown and wanted to spend the night with a friend that was in town for one night. This motel allowed me to party and not drive home. No DUI

Clean, comfortable, and close. No hot tub available. I really enjoy staying there.

I went to San Diego with three girl friends. We were very happy with the Rodeway inn, the price is great and the location is good if you like the down town area (we were not too excited about it). The free breakfast is very nice; juices, coffee, bagels, english muffins, waffles and fruits. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The Comfort Inn is located in a nice safe neighborhood close to the Zoo and airport. The room was clean and comfortable. A good value for the money. My only complaint was an indifferent staff. Would stay there again, however

Very dingy hotel. Bathroom shower drain was clogged. Door looked like it could be kicked in easily. Bath towels had staining. Other than decent location - I would not recommend this hotel. Bring a sleeping bag if you do.

The receptionist behaved very rude and unhelpful when we forgot our jacket in the room after check out and it was gone. We had a bad experience on the very last day, my husband forgot his leather jacket in the room when we checked out. We returned back to hotel four hours later but the jacket was not in the room. Our flight was 2 hours later so we were in a hurry but the receptionist didn't help us much and even said that he doesn't have so much time to help us. We had a very stressful hour. At last the housekeeper was able to help us but if the receptionist was kind enough we would have solved the problem in 15 minutes and wouldn't be in a hurry to the airport. Other then this hotel met our expectations. But we want this issue to be raised to his supervisor.

Nice hotel, but rooms are small. Worked in a pinch. Service was pretty good after shuttle arrived (1 1/2 hour later- had to be called twice)

The first room we got had stained carpet. We were in our room for about 20 minutes, when we began to smell something horrible. It was the bathtub filling up with sewer or something, apparently that had happened before as the carpet stains looked to match the backup! The next room, the very last available room, was a handicap room. The water pooled in the bathroom after showers and never drained completely. The maid service did not show up until around 5pm, when we were getting ready to go out. The walls were also very thin, so the room was very noisy. Would never stay here again!

Nothing! Neither! Has no parking available inside the hotel! danger and scary people!

There is no parking at all. If you do not park in the lot at mid day and leave your car there then you have to park across the street in the parking garage the size of a living room. The Breakfast was not bad as far as continental goes. Hard boiled eggs and waffles were included. The danishes were good. The room was a good size. However mine did not have the fridge as specified in the package and there was several hairs on the wall and door in the bathroom. The price was right howver and I have paid more and stayed in worst.

Quite satisfied in every respect except for one thing. We were charged $12.00 to park our car overnight at this hotel. We have NEVER ever been charged to park a car at any motel or hotel we have stayed and we have stayed at many.

The continental breakfast. The toilets. Was a nice stay.

Rooms are small and a lot of noise from within the hotel and outside of the hotel filters into the room. A lot of construction nearby, which starts at 6-7am.However, the bed and the shower were great!

Good continental breakfast, clean rooms. Extra fee for the parking spot, no pool. Extremely tight parking lot, absolutely not worth $16 a day, dark stuffy rooms, coffeemaker on the table with no plug-ins nearby, so I had to place the thing on the carpet floor by the opposite wall to plug it in!
Date of Stay:
July, 2006
Non-Smoking room smelled like smoke, Bathtub sized outdoor spa was broken. Very limited parking. Had to walk across street for continetal breakfast. Close to shuttle stop for comic con Construction Near by starts at 7am on weekdays Noisy location

Location. Had to pay for parking.

Location near the heart of Downtown. Noise from other guests.

Nothing. You have to pay 16 dollars to park. I can't write how angry I am with them. I got there and they charged me 16 dollars to park. It's downtown, you can't park anywhere but in their spot. Also check this out. They automatically charge you 2 dollars for having a safe in the room. The only way you can get the charge off is if you ask. No big deal for those who catch the charge. Rooms have no bath. Shower only. Thank God for forgiveness. I truly didn't mind the cheap staying.

Comfortable & welcoming, felt like home away from home.
Date of Stay:

Nothing. Everything - cleanliness, appearance, burn out light bulbs, dirty room and not enough outlets for computer use. I would not recommend this place especially if you are a business traveler.
