I didn't have a car, and it was too far to walk downtown or to the lake, but there were places to eat very close, the manager was very helpful and nice, and the room was spotless and quiet. Taxi to airport was only $16 (plus tip).

Desk staff was reasonably helpful. The location was convenient to 7 and the Interstate. Really cheap (and stupid) to thin the batter on the waffles. The room needed repairs and the bathroom was really dated. It served the purpose of being inexpensive and where I needed to be. Other than that, not much to recommend this place.

Check in was good, person at front desk was helpful. Beds were not comfortable. Hairdryer provided in bathroom did not work. Upon return in evening, no parking was available and after inquiring at desk I was told to park in a handicapped space out by the street. Peron at the desk did not seem at all concerned that my room was on the back of the property and there was no parking available!

For the traveler, this hotel provides an affordable option. Rooms were Ok and bed was comfortable. Pool was inviting and stayed open late. Laundry facilities also on site. Free breakfast had many options and provided good start to the day. Hotel provides good base to explore local area and as overnight stopover on continuing trip. Hotel not fancy, but neither was price.

This hotel is easy to find, close to the airport. Although situated on a main thoroughfare, our room was located in an area that was quiet. Guests were quiet and considerate. The breakfast offered a variety of foods, both hot and cold, and was well-stocked. It was easy to find our way downtown and to the interstate from our location.

For the price and convenience to restaurants and shopping very good. Very friendly, good price. Well go back when in Burlington.

This place was terrible and the surroundings were only outdone by the terrible service. I had to chnage my room three times to get a reasonable non-smoking room. My reservation was for non-smoking but I couldn't get satisfaction until after three attempts at a discussion with the ""manager."" I will never go there again!!!!

With all other hotels well above $100 per night, this one was a resonable price. It isn't fancy, but it was a decent place to stay with good location to Burlington, the airport, and eating establishments. They were kind enough to wait for me until 12:15am to check in. There was a bit of noise in the early morning hours form some vehicles with beep reverse next door, but it didn't last long.

Nothing! Filthy anddirty. I cant believe the board of health lets the place stay in business.

The location of the Roadway Inn was excellent. There were plenty of restaurants in the area as well as close to all activities.

Room was huge. Very dated, worst coffee ever! I was just passing through and looking for someplace cheap to stay. This motel was ok and got the job done.

The service was beyond what we expected. The staff went out of their way to please us. Nothing. As I said, the staff would see that we needed help, quite literally before we knew that we needed help. It was as if we could clap our hands and someone would be there, at our elbows.

Hotel staff was friendly. The hotel was older. The hotel served the purpose that I needed for this particular trip. It was adequate, but not a place that I would visit if I were staying longer.

The evidence of construction work that was not completed in the room. It was clean and comfortable.

We got our money back. They could gut the place and it would be more pleasant. Believe the lousy reviews on this place. While the clerk was friendly, not much else was. While we made mistakes by not booking earlier for Columbus day weekend, we were willing to pay more for any available room.

The place was falling apart, and had not been redecorated since maybe 1970.

Super sweet staff, location great right near the magic hat factory. Pretty sweet hotel, we got a suite. Huge roomI mean the bed looked small. The staff was great super nice and accommodating. Great location near the magic hat factory and a short taxi away from college town. Overall, this place was great.

The size of the room was great. The cleaning staff was very good. The pool was in need of cleaning. No one used it because of its appearance. The staff was helpful. There was no elevator to higher floors. The cleaning staff did a great job. The pool needs to be repaired. The room was spacious and well equipped.

The price was reasonable. The room was dingy and no one cleaned our room the first niter we were there. The location was good, but the hotel itself was run down, the room needed updating.
Date of Stay:
June, 2008
Nothing. Upon arrival felt the place was rundown, creepy. Unclean, drunk fell out of his room onto my car as I was trying to check in, overall seediness to the place.
