The Rodeway Inn Saco was a very pleasant stay for me. I engaged in a worry-free vacation thanks to the constant friendliness and upkeeping of the Inn staff and I felt confident that they would be reliable for any needs I did have. I enjoyed the changing of sheets daily and the considerate applications to my room such as the cups left at the sink for anything I brought back to drink and the kitchen appliances left in the cabinet for me if I so chose to cook in the room I was staying at. The light fixtures were many and appropriately located, giving me a well lit room if I needed! Another benefit was it`s in very close proximity to the heart of Saco`s town where restaraunts and small diners are in the many. I was very impressed.

Not as clean as expected. The place was awful. Beds were hard, pillows were paper thin, towels were stiff and scratchy and indoor pool was not open for use.

I completely enjoyed my stay at the RODEWAY INN, SACO ME. The room was Extra clean , bath room was roomy, bed was ... comfortable. When I went to bed the mattress was comfortable and I fell asleep right away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Maine.

No heat in Hotel !! Temp was in the 40's at night and being from Florida was very cold. Asked man in office to turn on the heat he said it came on at night. Never did! Thermostate in room did nothing, heat turned off in the office. Woke up to very cold room. They gave us a portable heater that only worked when it wanted too. Very dirty room. Stove in room didn't work. Room smelled so bad had to go to the store and buy air sanitizer to spray on everything.

Bed too small. Overpirced, no ice machine. Lousy continental breakfast. How can they not have a ice machine in a resort area. The manager gave me ice from his home refrigerator.

They overcharged me, my credit card is disputing that. Charged me twice. Queen bed was a double. 13 channels on TV, remote had no back so the batteries kept falling out. No breakfast, worse jerk we ever met. Want to get ripped off go here. I run 5 groups on the net and this place is going to be spread all over as the worst place to stay. I show dogs and we do a lot of showing in Maine, will warn all dog people to get away from this place. Got a great place right on Old Orchard Beach for * less. I am contacting BBB abd anyone else I can report this place to, like the health dept..

Cleaned nicely during day. Smoke smell was horrible, purchased deodorizer, stains on blanket. Arrival was horrible. Room had a terrible smoke smell and I complained. I could not switch rooms, I was only offered dollar store air freshener. I had to purchase my own Lysol to spray all week. I have had smoking rooms before but not with such a bad odor. There were stains on the blanket under the bedspread. The continental breakfast area really needed new tables, counters etc. It looked old and the stuff needed to be replaced. I have stayed in hotels many times and this is the first time I have ever complained.

It was close to stores. They had no heat in the motel asked if they could turn on the heat the said it comes on at night which it didn't. I will not stay there again in the winter time rooms were freezing. The person had to give us a portable heater which took forever to heat up ask person to turn on heat and heat was never turned on it was like sleeping outside so cold had to sit in my car with the heat on we could see our breath when we talked they had thermostats in the room but they controlled the heat no heat.

This would take all day. Iactually had to report them to the health department and a health inspector went there yesterday. the place was a total dump, the staff was rude and unhelpful, it was just ridiculous and disgusting. i'd dissuade anyone from staying there.

Totally grossed out! The place smelled was was dirty and looked as though had not been vacummed in quite a few weeks, dust bunnies under the bed, behind the bed, under the table, etc. When we uncovered the bedspread the sheets had yellow stains on them. After bringing to the attention of the manager they said they could give us new sheets, but they were full as was all the places nearby. No refunds as they pointed to a sign at the front desk, makes me think this has happened before. We slept in sleeping bags luckily we had with us! The door did not clse all the way and it has a long vertical gap from the door to the opening, luckily it was a safe area, now doubt anyone wanting to get in could just simply push the door open! The pool and hot tub was a joke, very cloudy water so told the kids no! Luckily we were close to the beach so walked there and only spent a minimal amount of time in the room. Next time I will be staying another place.

staff was pleasant enough. bureau drawers stuck. 2 prs. of socks from a previous tenant still in drawers. shampoo packets were hard to open. kitchenette faucet sprayed water all over the countertop. the air conditioner was almost useless. just as the room would cool down (about 1/2 hr) it would stop putting out cold air & the fan motor would just run. Temps were in 80's all week. made for uncomfortable sleeping.
