I booked this hotel off of the internet and hoped it would be OK. When we pulled in the hotel name had changed since I booked it. I was hoping there was some mistake and this was not the hotel I booked, but the address was the same. We went in to check in and knew we were in for trouble when there was a glass window between the employee at the desk and the guest. We waited in line behind two current guests who were complaining that their bedsheets had not been changed for 3 days and a maid never came by. When it was our turn to check in, we asked if we could check in early (at 1:00 instead of 3:00) and were told we absolutely could not. It did not appear that there were many people staying at the hotel and I'm sure there were open rooms...especially if the maidservice doesn't even clean each room! The man at the desk was extremely rude and did not go out of his way to help us or anyone that he encountered. I can't see how this place will ever stay in business with this kind of customer service. We decided to stay at a Days Inn down the road and enjoyed our stay there.

We requested a non-smoking room and were placed in a smoking room. Door had a huge crack at the bottom and didn't shut tight even when lock. Hotel is old and in need of repair.
