The staff was very helpful and nice! The rooms were clean which is a huge plus for me!! The location of the hotel was convenient to a lot of things around you! My overall stay at the Rodeway was very good and I would definitely stay there again.

The indoor pool was nice, the location was excellent. The beds gave us terrible back pain. Over all the hotel was average. The location is excellent, only one block from the boardwalk and seconds from the beach. There are many places to wine and dine close by. Unfortunately if you are not aware of the fact that there are two building you may get stuck in the lesser of the two. The smaller building is not beach front and the indoor pool is inside the larger building. Also if you have back problems the poor quality of the beds will definitely exacerbate your pain. The poor sleeping arrangement and the fact the buildings are separate lowers the overall satisfaction of the experience.

Everything was nice about the hotel.. Front desk person was very friendly when we checked in on Friday afternoon.. Rooms were clean, View of the ocean was enjoyable except the weather could of been nicer..Rain whole time we were there.

The room smelled like bug spray and generic air freshner. Completely overwhelming so we spent most of the time away. The hot water didn't work. The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the site. GOD AWFUL. I was expecting a midline hotel. If I wanted to stay in a place like this I would picked a cheaper option (and there are).

The check in and out was easy and fast. The staff were very nice and attentive. It was overall an excellent stay. Both hotels are right there at beach. Didn't have to cross any streets. Very close to boardwalk and local attractions. Would recomemd to anyone. Prices are reasonable for being that close to beach.

The staff was very nice both at the front desk and the cleaning crew. The hotel needed to be updated and the pool water was very dirty. For the price I would have rented at another hotel that was farther away from the boardwalk. The staff was very nice and cleaned the best they could with the dated rooms.

We spent 3 nights . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The view and location were great. We would stay there again. The only problem was the air conditioner. It did not cool the room. Since it was October that wasn't a big concern, but during the summer, it would have been a problem.

When I walked in the room, the first thing I noticed was the strong stench of cigarette smoke and there were a host of cigarette butts in an ashtray on the night stand. That same night stand was sticky and dirty. I thought I had a non-smoking room and the signs in the room, (despite 2 ashtrays), said that it was a non-smoking room. The front desk tried to accomodate us, but we were told there were no other rooms available. Also, there was probably poor insulation or something because whenever my neighbor flushed the toilet or took a shower, or turned on the bathroom fan, I could hear the sound of running water and the fan behind my bed. The pipes must have been right behind the wall. It was annoying. Luckily, we had a great view of the ocean so our trip was not a complete loss.

The hotel was good...the staff was friendly. The maid did leave cleaning supplies in the bathroom, and then the front desk told us that we could stay in our room since we had gotten another room for that night.

Went for the 4 days/3 nights vacation and don't regret. It is a moderate hotel with decent rooms (we had 2 queen beds and a sofa). No smell or anything like that reported before. We paid extra to get an ocean view room and it is worth it. Little bit nosy from the ocean at night but better that then a car noise in the second building (just guessing). Hotel staff is friendly and very responsive ? have a little problem with clogged toiled (my kids doing) and they were in our room within 5 min. Hotel is 2 blocks from boardwalk - can be better. Easy to get there and not crowded Hotel staff claimed that they have returning families coming there once a month ! Good hotel for the money

I was a bite hesitant at first but when we arrived we were very impressed with not only the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms but the staff was very kind and informable of great places to eat (all you can eat especially). We are certainly looking forward to going back in August. The money was worth it and most importantly the stay was very enjoyable:) I would recommend this hotel to others who are going to visit OC.

Cycling around was nice because the area is flat. There are many places for dining or snacking. Literally two steps to the beach, which is much wider than in Rehoboth. Large amusement park is located right accross the street, which is convenient for families with kids. Wi-Fi Internet connection was somewhat missing. In general, the place is OK for the price.

They were very accommodating. The first night was a very small room. Once we upgraded, we very pleased with the hotel. Everything was perfect. The oceanfront view, larger room, maid service, parking, indoor and outdoor pool, close to the boardwalk.

The older part of this hotel is an aging structure, but it's been nicely redone fairly recently. It is an easy walk to the beach (1/2 a block), although our view of the ocean was obstructed by the newer part of the hotel which is directly on the ocean front. The room was clean and the staff were polite and personable. The indoor pool was clean and pleasant. The breakfast consisted of baked goods in little cellophane packages, but who's complaining? I would defintely return here with my family.

We were in town for a wedding and did not spend much time in the room. For the price it was fine. Seemed a little old. It was small. But we pretty much just slept there. Our room was on the highway so we could here traffic. They do have other rooms, in a different building. Staff was really nice.

Clean, good price for location. Elevator door sticks a lot. For Ocean City Maryland, this hotel is a good stay for the price especially if you are like us where you just want a very clean room and bathroom. We were in and out a lot. Beds were comfortable, staff was nice. If you are high maintenance individual, go to a high scale hotel. If you want to be economical, be close to the beach, boardwalk, and activities, this is a good place.

I needed a getaway on a buget and this was definately the way to go! The ocean was across the parking lot! Boardwalk 2 blocks away! I was bay side and could see the sunset from my room! The room was spotless, safe, secure, with ref, micro, iron and xtra pillows! And the pools!! The inside pool has jungle stencils and was just beautiful!! Would I stay there again-I went to Chinoteaque for a day then came back and stayed there again before I went home! Very Pleased!

My mother was able to watch our 11 month old while me and my husband stayed one night at this hotel. It was a great experience. We really had wanted to stay on the boardwalk, but there was nothing available and if it was, it wasn't in our price range. I like this hotel though, because the beach is right there within walking distance, so you dont have to find a place to park. We had a wonderful time.

Clean, cheap, good location. Bad breakfast spot recommendation by staff.
