It was very close to everything.
Date of Stay:

The first room was filthy. Lots of flies were in the room. If you are looking for a dive, this is the one. The front desk clerk was extremely nice, considering they did not have the original king room that I had paid for. The Jacuzzi room that we got on the second day was much cleaner and nicer although I bought bleach and cleaned the tub before I got in. Great for partying if thats your scene, right next to a bar so it was noisy. I was just looking to relax on my birthday.

Clean, comfortable and close enough to attractions/restaurants.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. It was dirty and had stains on the carpets and walls.

Good value for the price, great location, clean, and friendly staff. Rough towels. We plan to return to Helen Ga and will stay here again.

Close to areas of interest not downtown but in a much quieter area. No restaurant. I would reccommend this motel. The rooms were clean and smelled clean. The bed was very comfrontable. The staff were very nice and accomidating. I will stay at this motel again.

Staff was very prompt and friendly. It was a little grimy, but good for the price. Overall, it's what I expected for the price. Good for a budget, and 7 miles from downtown Helen.

Nothing. Everything. Long distance on phone didnt even work. Had to use phone in office. Toilet didnt flush correctly. Hot water was difficult to get on.

Front desk staff member was extremely friendly. Bedspread smelled like body odor. Mattress was lumpy. Tub would not hold water. Needs a face lift. Needs more attention to cleanliness. The mattress was terribly lumpy.

Helpfulness of the staff. Room was very small with two full beds. Saw 1 roach. It was nice for what I paid per night. It was not convenient for walking into the main shoppers of Helen. One staff member helped me tremendously & I requested help about 3 times. If someone just wants a place to stay at night. This is it.

Location. Price is good and the location is fine. The room was standard economy.

Was a convenient location because of most family members were within a 30 minute drive. Customer unfriendly, having to take my time every day to rekey my card. I was compelled to ask to speak to the manager on 2 separate occasions. She replied "I am the manager." Our room was so "moldy" & hot when we arrived that we had to air the room out for 2 hours prior to taking our luggage inside (after a 6 hour drive we were already tired!). We were assured we had the best room there! My husband & I have seen the doctor twice in less than 6 days due to contracting a horrible upper respiratory infection from staying in that room for 4 nights! It was an inconvenience to having to go to the lobby every day to get our room key re carded. She said the owner had not taught her how to key for the duration of a customer stay. As she was re keying our card one day, she volunteered that "the folks in 204 were upset at her" (I really don't think anyone has ever told her just how she is perceived). Every interaction with customers seemed to be an imposition. The day before our checkout day, we were notified that our house in Savannah was flooded. I was almost in tears when I expressed the need to check out a day early. This was at 12:45 Sunday and she said it was policy they could not reimburse for any part of Monday's stay because of policy. I asked her if she could notify the owner and she said he couldn't be reached. The other female spoke up and said they had to pay for the housekeeper's daily cleaning and that's why we could not be reimbursed. I expressed the daily cleaning had not been done yet, but no response. Was so customer unfriendly! Highly suggest your staff attend customer service training or you will be challenged and have a struggle to receive positive feedback! My husband & I have spent many trips at hotels, but this is one we will never stay at again!

Location. Holes in walls/no blow dryer. It stated in the specs of the hotel it had a blow dryer, so I didn't bring mine. The room did not have one nor did they have one to give me. Shower head leaked and drywall was coming off in bathroom. Holes in the walls; mirror not clean. I was disappointed and will never stay there again.

The location and the pool. Room stated it had a built-in hair dryer and there was not one. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

It looked nice from the outside. Almost everything. Room smelled. Sheets were never changed in 4 day stay. Dirty towels left on floor Would not stay there again.
