when i checked into the hotel they were very friendly. the room was comfortable, but no well cleaned nor maintained. there were holes in the ceiling in the bathroom, the main portion of the rooms carpeting was vacummed however, underneath the bed had all kinds of liter & garbage that was not from my daughter or myself.. on sunday, they came into our room left clean linen-- did not make up the beds but they did get the garbage ours & everyone elses from under the bed-- as this was a double room. but what really made my stomach turn sour was when the hotel manager/owner who ever he was called me to indicate i had stolen the hotel pillows.... when had a very nasty phone conversation, he said he would go check the room his self and call me back, cause the cleaning lady reported the theft... he again called me back & acused me a stealing his pillows... i proceeded to tell him, had his cleaning staff made my room up on sunday afternoon instead of just dropping off clean linen, they would have noticed i took my own pillows as well as my daughters pillows to the stay-- cause everyone knows that hotel pillows leave something to be desired. i will never stay there again-- nor will i ever refer anyone else there... they need to find new management.

Close to where we wanted to be a the cheapest price Highway noise moderate price, moderate conditions, daughter was pleasantly surprised that there was a wireless internet connection

Although this motel is very bare bones, what it lacks in ammenities it makes up for in friendliness and cleanliness. I would stay there again.

The location of this hotel is ideal for a quick visit to Grand Haven. The room overall smelled very bad of smoke. I did not use any of the hotel amenities.

The Rodeway Inn of Grand Haven was comfortable, very clean and a nice continental breakfast. The room was tidy, and very close to the downtown area. A Grand Haven area information book was available at the desk, giving info on restaurants, stores, maps and locations.

The Rodeway Inn Grand Haven was an older motel. Even though there were two queen beds in our room, they were very soft and 'jiggly', the sides of the mattresses broken down from sitting on them. The room was small, and there was no separation of the vanity area from the beds, so the light from that area shown into the bed area. There was a continental breakfast in the morning, but very minimal offering. There was no ice machine available, thus no ice buckets either. There was only a soda vending machine on the lower level between the two buildings. However...the desk clerk on duty the night we arrived had taken the time (at the request of the manager) to call us checking on our late arrival. As this was going into the 4th of July weekend, I'm sure this was to see if they would have another vacancy available.
