Date of Stay:
May, 2009
It was close to Grand Valley State University. We were participating in their graduation and special dinners
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
The pool and hot tub room was very nice, the entrance was clean and neat and it fit our needs for this trip. They did not ask our preference for smoking or non and we didn't think about it since it was rather empty and we were put in a smoking room. It was a fine for what our trip entailed. We were not looking for high end and it was neat and clean and friendly.

The hotel and room was clean and front staff was very friendly. The pool was nice as well just a little too cold but my 7 yr son didn't care. We were looking for something inexpensive to lay our heads on a Friday night that was decent and this hotel was that.

The Rodeway Inn of Coopersville, MI was clean and comfortable and the Staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was OK, but lacked any fresh fruit. The space provided for the continental breakfast was inadequate and lacked table space.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Right out of grand rapids. Linens and towels smelled horrible and the TV's did not get signal. The whole hotel smelled. Including the beds and towels. Did not like swimming pool placement, right next to lobby separated by glass windows, everyone could see you swimming, highly uncomfortable. Only one person on staff so it took a while to get the things you needed.

This hotel has a good pool and jacuzzi for families. WIFI is easy to connect to with no passwords required. There are several fast food restaurants nearby, but when asked the clerk couldn't think of any thing else except a sandwich shop. Checking online the next day showed several within a few miles.

This Rodeway Inn in Coopersville, Michigan wasn't the greatest nor the worst. I was discouraged about continental breakfast. Please call it what it really is - a few donuts and juice. As an adult with 2 teenagers that traveled with me, we all would have appreciated a more complete breakfast than was available. I was quite disappointed in the amount of money I spent on this overnite-room considering we had the world's most uncomfortable pillows and beds. I swear the springs were bouncing thru the mattress. Overall, this location is fine for the quick trip we had to make and the overnite stop we needed, but I wouldn't recommend this for a family vacation spot nor an extended length of stay.

Nothing. My room wasn't cleaned for 2 days. This hotel was awful, my room wasn't cleaned for two days, the continental breakfast contained nothing but bagels and donuts (I am diabetic) with only one juice and no fruit. The pool rules were not adhered to, unsupervised children jumping into the water, water all over the surrounding areas. Noisy patrons throughout the night, I couldn't sleep.

The only thing I noticed is that when we entered the room it smelled really bad of cig. smoke, now I realize it was a smoker room, and that is what we wanted, but could it have be freshened up(deoderized)between visits?, Because maybe not all the people staying that night will be smokers and it would be nice to have a clean smelling room at least when you arrive, everything else was great! I hope this helps,

Nice swimming area and convenient location. Not much to do in the direct area. Clean rooms kids had a blast in the pool area all around a very decent stay.

Pool was nice and breakfast was fine for continental. Lots of ants in the rooms near air conditioner, tons of them. This hotel is ok for the price. I was hard to understand the owner/manager because he didn't speak good English.
Date of Stay:

Cable TV. Unprofessional service and manners.
Date of Stay:

Friendly staff. Occasional whiff of manure from surrounding farms. Great value for the money! Less than 30 min from Muskegon. Several places to eat in the neighborhood.
Date of Stay:

Even though it was close to highway, couldn't hear much traffic noise. not much insulating between floors, could hear EVERYTHING going on above. Wonderful pool area, children enjoyed very much. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not enough chairs or food at the breakfast need to be up early to get any.

Convenient location. Wireless internet did not work in room. The rooms were pleasant and clean although the windows were dirty. The continental breakfast area was very small - the breakfast was acceptable with limited selection. The hotel staff was helpful. We could not access the internet from our room - only from the lobby because of some issues they were having.

Indoor pool. Dirty carpet at entrance of side door # 4. Good hotel for the price - includes continental breakfast and indoor pool.
Date of Stay:

Staff was friendly and was located right off the highway. Needed some maintenance updates on it. Security devices on door were broken, rooms were pretty clean but needed to deep cleaned especially under beds.

Warm pool, hot hottub and reasonable breakfast. This hotel has small rooms and lower end quality of room furnishings.
Date of Stay:
January, 2006
The cleaning staff was extremely friendly and kind with my young child, and wrote her special notes. They went out of their way. The pool and hot tub were freezing cold, and that was one of the reasons we selected the hotel - so that was disappointing. Overall it was clean, safe and fine. The staff was friendly, and outside of the problem with cold water in the pool and hot tub - it was fine.
Date of Stay:
December, 2005
Desk clerk Kelly was most helpful and professional . We were on first floor, elevator would be nice for 2nd. This is a safe, clean property, with very helpful and professional staff. Rooms are not huge, but are comfortable. Would strongly recommend for business, and leisure travelers who are looking for a good deal for the money.
