the front desk staff, ...mika?(kid with gauges) was very helpful, at check in , hehad showed me were my room was on a map, (this place was huge) he told me about breakfast, which i wasnt aware of, i had to park at the end of the lot, cause i had a truck, and my room was far. but i have a rig, at least they had parking, when i got to the room it was ice cold tho, the heat wasnt on, and its cold out in that area,(when i turned the heat on it worked great tho)--- my room was over all clean, but old as dirt, the room was circa 69 or something, the towels were brand new, they had so much starch tho it was liek running sandpaper on my skin, i didnt see any bugs, or anything (i drive cross country, so i always pull back the sheets and check for bed bugs) the breakfast was.....it sucked no selection, they should advertise... donuts n coffee not breakfast........ other then that my stay was fine......o one more thing the guy at check out...... howey? was real polite and respectfull to, even when i was gripping, about little things.

FILTHY/SCUZZY/GROSS/DISGUSTING!!! - I RATE Rodeway Inn Conference Center Allentown, 1151 Bulldog Drive Allentown, PA 18104 (formerly the Days Inn) a 0 Lets start at the beginning...I don't want to forget anything... When we pulled up to the front door to check in the front desk guy was outside smoking and it took him a 1/2 hr just to check us in ...he was a complete idiot...when we finally got our card key it didn't work ....hubby had to go to the hall door to get in....in the end the front door (the outside entrance) was broken ....you had to slam it to close it. When I first walked in all you could see where the stains on the carpet (navy blue ...u could see every stain)... I just have to say "keep your shoes on at all times!" Then there's the bathroom... the tub had grime around it ....I took a nail file and ran it around the slip mat and it came right off! I had to take a shower with my Crocs (shoes) on. Now lets talk about the dirty toilet ...there was residue around the rim of the inside of the bowl and the ceiling had mold all over it ....ewwww. With closer inspection of the room it was just GROSS... I moved the night stand to find an outlet and OMG the filth that was behind it AND the BIG white stain... it was so disgusting. OK at this point I was so grossed out I didn't want to stay but it was one in the morning and we were so tired. So I put my PJ's on and was gonna watch some TV and relax (hoping nothing would crawl out from under the bed)...but wait....where's the remote? So I started looking for it and it's know where to be found....I call the front desk and when he finally answered the phone after about 20 rings (?) (outside smoking again?) I asked him about it and HE (the complete idiot guy) said "we don't have ANY..." somebody stoled them all! I said are you joking? you can't get me a remote? and he said sorry nope I can't and that was it...he didn't care one bit. So I gave up that idea and decided to go to bed. OMG the bed...it was like sleeping on a rock...when you laid down your feet where higher then your head. I'm thinking the whole time boy are they gonna hear from me in the morning! It's morning ...YEA!...Hubby went to get our continental breakfast...and hears what I have to say about that....Continental breakfast? What continental breakfast? There was hardly any selection; cold cereal, oatmeal, oranges and some day old donuts...I didn't even try them, they where so hard. (Went to D. Donuts down the street and had breakfast.) So it's time to leave and I take in the card key and by the time I'm done with them they are so sorry (face all red) and they ask what can we do to make it up to you? I said nothing because I would never stay here again and they should PAY me to stay here! I also said I could give them a lesson on how to clean a room properly if the wanted me to....with no comment from them. I also asked her how would SHE like to stay in a room that was filthy and she said no she wouldn't. I also told them I TOOK PICTURES OF EVERYTHING ....she wasn't happy about that.I wish I had read the reviews listed here before I chose to stay at this place... it was by far the worst places I have ever been to. I learned a valuable lesson ...DO your homework when it comes to staying at a hotel. Do me a favor Rodeway Inn Conference Center Allentown, 1151 Bulldog Drive Allentown, PA 18104 (formerly the Days Inn)...CLEAN IT UP OR SHUT IT DOWN! FILTHY/SCUZZY/GROSS/DISGUSTING!!!

Dreadful experience. Made a 2 page list of all my complaints. On check-in, all lights in room unplugged & heat turned up to full blast. Others in the group had the same experience. Lock on door didn't work. I had to have somebody from front desk let me in with pass key every evening. hadn't been cleaned in months. shower barely worked. sink didn't work. Had our society meeting in this "convention center" behind sheets that they strung across the bar!!! Had a 2 hour meeting & I never heard a word. Lights didn't work after they were plugged in. alarm didn't work at all. No chain on the door. Had to remake bed, as sheets didn't cover mattress. Others in our group had same complaints. Breakfast just OK. Ice machine & pop machine didn't work in our building. No sign welcoming our group that stayed there, but welcomed gun show people who had been gone for a week. We got no respect from anybody. I packed everything I owned & took it with me every time we left. Hotel management seemed concerned & responsive, but nothing was ever fixed while I was there. Other bad reviews are from 2006. The place definitely hasn't gotten any better in 2 years. I would not have picked this hotel if I had picked the place to stay, but that's where our convention was held. Smokers were in a different building. They had fewer complaints than we non-smokers did. Probably different cleaning people. Huge complex. Had to drive to office to get somebody to let me in each evening. 2 doors in room. 1 didn't work at all. Both interior & exterior halls.

We got to the hotel and it took us about five minutes to be served (we were first in line). This is because they helped people who would come straight up to the desk to ask questions before they would ask us. We got to the room and it looked pretty big. The bathroom was very small though (not to mention the water pressure in the toilet was not great). The bed was big. Usually cheap hotels give you a double, but we had a king. The bed was clean, which is very important. The room smelled of smoke (and we paid for a non smoking room). The televison was good. It got a lot of channels. It seemed reletivly safe there. It also came with a breakfast. There was not much of a selection, but I can't complain considering I paid a really good price. Most motels do not include a breakfast.

This is THE worst hotel I ever stayed in. I took a shower as soon as I got home. I wouldn't take my shoes off. The bathroom was gross. The towels were like sandpaper. The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. Never ever would I stay here again!!!!!!!

This hotel was the worst hotel that I ever stayed in. It was filthy and disgusting. The toilet was clogged and could not get anybody to fix it. Lucky for me that I had joining rooms so that we could use toilet. Also I had to beg the front desk on several occassions for towels. I finally had to hunt down my own towels.
