The rooms appliances were not up to par but the room was quiet and clean. Cheap quiet room for the cheap price.

Location, housekeepers are really careful, my room was always clean, the view out of the window was great. Westin is a huge hotel, it's very clean. The view from the window of the room or from the elevator (when it brings you up or down) is magnificent.

We had not hot water and no parking space for our car, the staff wasn't kind as we wish. In general was an average stay and to be honnest with you we will really think more than twice staying at your hotel next time in SF or some other city. JC

The hotel is on the edge of a questionable neighborhood. DO NOT leave any valuables in the car! Take them in the room with you at night. The hotel is old and it shows. The exterior could use a good power wash but the rooms were clean. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. We didn't plan on spending a lot of time here. All we needed was a safe place to sleep. It was a good value for the price. I would recommend it if you are on a tight budget.

This hotel room could be illustrated as unsanitary to say the least. The thin, blue comforters on both beds were covered with large and small circular stains. The exposed box frame from underneath had been colored with brown stains resembling the results of a previous visitors ?late night out?. Once my business group discovered these unsettling characteristics of this Rodeway Inn, an attempt to check out early and receive a money return was in order. We were refused any money back from the hotel attendant working the front desk, and were not even offered a different room for the night. I do not recommend anyone staying at this unsanitary facility.

Considering this hotel is in the heart of San Francisco, the hotel room was spacious and very clean. A very comfortable room with many amenities. For the price it was definitely a bargain!!

Price was excellent, fridge, microwave, and room service. No internet, and humidity in the room. The price was perfect!

did not actually check in! not a family location! lots of visible crime on the street directly at location. hotel clerk very rude and unhelpful. avoid*********** check out the hotels closer to fisherman's wharf - good prices and quality but book ahead.

Facility has the advantage of being cheap and well located. Easy access to buses, BART, etc. Elevator is ancient--almost frightening. Shower water restrictor is extreme--allows only a series of dribbles.

Rodeway Inn Civic Center is quite accessible to most of the tourist locations, but the location is a bad neighborhood. They keep the room clean, but the parking was very bad. Not enough parking for everybody; you have to park on the street.

Staff (front desk & maids friendly & welcoming) room had microwave, fridge, and coffee. The Rodeway Inn is small, and while not up to date, it had fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron in room and USA Today newspaper. I am quite satisfied with it. Staff is warm and welcoming.

Nice location close to many attractions and public transportation. A little noisy but comfortable, clean and free parking! We also parked the next day for just 10 so we could sightsee by foot. I'd recommend to anyone looking for travel on a shoestring.

The staff was amazing. Horrible neighborhood. The rooms were OK, the staff was very accommodating. Make sure you arrive early so you get a parking spot in the hotel, if not you have to pay $10 to park next door. If you end up parking next door, be sure to ask for a spot in the secure lot. The rooms are standard. Mind didn't have an alarm clock in it. The sheets and towels seemed clean, the floor didn't. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. It's OK cheap lodging.

I've stayed at a lot of one star hotels in San Francisco, and this is by far the nicest. It is on the edge of a rough area so it isn't for the squeamish.

Nothing, it was awful and we left 10 minutes after we checked in! Drug dealers, hookers and homeless people outside the door to our room. There were drug dealers, hookers and homeless people outside the door to our room. To top it off, the room was filthy dirty and there was some sort of smoke from drugs that were being smoked by these people in the air that coming under the door into our room. I have photos to document this.

Though the room was clean, the shower barely sprayed, the bed tilted sharply to one side, and the sheets were very scratchy and ""old"" smelling. We arrived to the hotel by 6:00 p.m., and were told that the free parking had already been taken. The man at the desk was neither cordial nor professional, and told us that we would have to be up at 7:00 a.m. the next morning to feed the meter on the street where we had to park our car. I will not stay here again, nor will I reccommend it to others.

It was close to downtown civic center. There is no parking. Parking is hard to find in the area. Hated my stay. We had to wake up early to move our car and struggled with parking. Had to fight with other guest for parking. Ended up paying an extra fee for parking. Might as well stay at another hotel with plenty of parking for its guest that cost a bit more.

My car was broken into and everything was stolen. Shitty hotel with no parking spaces in the garage. My car was broken into by way of a smashed window and they stole everything inside.

Close to everything in downtown SF. Old but it did look like it was renovated, night staff was rude, day staff was good. The hotel was right smack in the middle of downtown San Francisco. If you want the feeling of being in downtown and aren't too worried about the old building, then Rodeway Inn is a good place to stay. It's not good enough for a romantic getaway but it is good for business travelers or maybe even small groups or families who just want to save money while they travel through downtown SF.

"This is a great hotel. Clean, quiet and safe. Everything I need to feel comfortable in the city with my family. Good location, comfy beds and lots of big towels."
