Hotel served our purpose as a halfway point from Mount Rushmore to Vail,Colorado. After speaking to the youn man at the desk, we found out that we over paid by booking with Cheap Tickets. We should have paid $75 with tax instead of @91. plus.

They had coffee. The people who worked there. The hotel was dumpy and dirty and the people who worked there did not do their jobs our bathroom was not even clean the front desk clerk was rude and unfriendly.

I stayed during Cheyenne Frontier Days - My room key did not work so I asked for another one, just give my room number, and the front desk clerk DID NOT ASK FOR ANY ID !! It is close to the grounds, but safety is not a priority at this hotel. I also overheard the staff and they said that there are a bunch of second story rooms with roof leaks in them. Be careful.

If you just need a quick stop over room, this hotel will work. It is an older style hotel.

Nothing. The electricity kept going off and the shuttle forgot to come pick us up and we waited over an hour and half and they did not answer their phone. This was the absolute worst place I have stayed in my entire life. We were told that the shuttle would pick us up at the same place it dropped us off, and we waited for over an hour and when it finally came back it stopped way further back than where they said and a bunch of people that just showed up got on the shuttle. So we waited and called and nobody answered until after 1 AM. Yeah because you did not answer your phone. Then when they finally decided to come back and get us they said well it is only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Yeah good idea 2 girls walking alone at 1 am sounds like a good safe idea to me. When we were getting ready for the concert the electricity kept going off. And it was extremely hot and our air conditioner did not ever work.

Location was good but hotel was old, dumpy and dirty. They did not have our reservation made through Travel website. Unfortunately the room had been prepaid through travel website.

It was your average motel, nothing fancy. There were a lot of males (im guessing workers) staying there, which made it somewhat uncomfortable while walking to our room, being checked out by all of them (I was with my niece and mother) The pool is outside, which isn't very practical in Wyoming. The free breakfast was terrible, there was no selection at all, waste of time. If you arent looking for something fancy, but want something decent, this is the place.

Location. Cleanliness. Good location and comfortably sized room. Needed a good cleaning.

The pool was nice. Breakfast was only from 6-9AM. I arrived and checked in and went to my room to find not in order, one of the double beds was resting along a wall and rain buckets were placed where the bed should have been. Then the desk clerk told me the shuttle does not run past 10pm. But as we were walking back to our hotel we were passed twice by the shuttle after 10PM. Our room was also not serviced by the cleaning staff, no change of sheets our clean towels.

Easy access off and on the interstate. Limited space for large trucks. Functional but not very nice.

Location. Everything else. There was a big event in town. Also I was not happy.

Easy to find. They switched our room to smoking handicapped. Had trouble breathing with smoky bedding. Not a bargain; wish I'd negotiated. Ok for construction worker who needs a bed.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
Nothing. Dirty room, breakfast scarce, run down. This was by far, the dirtiest, most run down hotel I have ever stayed. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges. There were Corona beer caps under the table. The beds felt dirty even with clean linen. The microwave turn table was missing. the TV was fuzzy. I am not high class or a snob. I work for the state of Wyoming and would have turned this place into the health inspector if it were in my jurisdiction.
