The rodeway Inn in Chapmansville, WV was on two different parking lot levels. The top floors were on a hillside, so it was a steep drive up to the second parking lot. A real adventure that was not a problem in the summer time but I wouldn't want to drive it in the winter. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. Attractions in the area include the Hatfield & McCoy ATV trail and Chief Logan state park. Chief Logan state park has an outdoor play in the summertime. The motel was close to Rt.119 which had an easy exit from the expressway . The mountain ride from Charleston was easy on the new expressway with very little traffic. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The new shopping mall about 5 miles away had plenty of restaurants, but Chapmanville had only fast food restaurants within walking distance.

There is not anything that I liked about this hotel. When opening the room it had a smell like it had been closed up for a long period of time. I had to purchase a candle to help remove smell. This would be a good hotel for working men or a company needing lodging for outdoor workers. I would not suggest this hotel. I am totally disappointed in this hotel. I would have rather paid more money to stay 1 mile from this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, and it was easy to find. It was so ugly. Put together so crummy. The place was old, and the air conditioner didn't put out cold air. the staff was so friendly and helpful. the whole city was nice. The place was very simple to find, just so ugly, and out of date
