I highly recommend the Rodeway.I have stayed there numerous times and the rooms are consistently clean, quiet and updated. The staff is helpful and they serve breakfast with healthy food and good coffee by 6:30 am. With a discount like AAA or ARP you can get an extremely reasonable rate. There is plenty of parking and it's location is convenient to SF or Berkeley's many attractions.

Rodeway Inn of Berkeley was exactly what we needed for a place to sleep and get up & go the next day. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We got in late and were disappointed with the fact that there were no parking spaces remaining for us on both nights. Not alot of dining choices. The grocery store across the street is very convenient and for a cheap, fast bite to eat, Nations is close by.

Room was updated and clean. Felt safe, complementary coffee and breakfast in morning was good. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We needed a place to stay in Berkeley so we could attend two graduation events for our daughter. Great location and easy parking (a major plus for Berkeley) and we were allowed to keep our car in the lot for a few hours following checkout. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The refrigerator and microwave oven were nice features.

Very clean. Nicely decorated. Looks like it has been recently renovated. Granite countertop and shower walls. New paint with crown molding. 8 out of 10 for quietness (noise from street) but did not hinder sleeping. Would definitely stay again if on a budget. Very nice people operating the motel.

My husband and I stayed here and would recommend. The price is very reasonable and the rooms are freshly remodeled and clean. Though the rooms are on the small side, they were adequate for us. Location is great, close to shops and restaurants and freeways. Also they have a great continental breakfast area with french toast, waffles, and english muffins to toast, along with cereals and frest fruit. Internet access in lobby. Very friendly. Oh, and nice and quiet, felt safe.

50% of the place has been remodeled. The place is clean, nice, and quiet. It is a great deal for the price. I was still close enough to SF. It only took a 15 minute drive to the City.
