my biggest issue was that i returned to my room at 6am and the card lock on my room wouldnt work. they gave me another room so i could get some rest. Had a poker tourney at 11am. turned out they couldnt get it fixed for some reason on a monday until 6pm. CALL A LOCKSMITH ITS A BUSINESS DAY!!!! So anyway no shower, same clothes i traveled in n played poker in til 6 in the morning, no phone charger, no deoderant, no medicine... WORST POKER TOURNAMENT I EVER PLAYED IN!!!they did have a toothbrush and toothpaste for me and gave me a free stay for the next night. Im an easy going guy but i can assure you they are lucky i traveled alone cause if my girfriend woulda been without a cellphone make up and clean clothes for the whole day there woulda been a brick through the window n our stuff woulda been in a room at one of the casinos. I just feel that if i woulda complained it coulda been fixed sooner with a locksmith. Or their miantenance man needs to quit his day job and be on call for emergencys. All in all it was clean and cheap for the location n the staff was nice.

I'm reviewing this for 3 people who are all 22 years old. This was a truly great stay. It's 1 block from the boardwalk, in between Bally's and the Resorts. It has free parking for the entire time you are there. The room wasn't large, but it had 2 clean beds, clean floors, and a clean bathroom. Free wi-fi (although we couldn't get a connection in the back of the complex) and free HBO. The maid-service was great and prompt. It's no more or less safe than any motel with individual rooms as opposed to all the rooms being located in one building. But as for getting there at night, normally I'm opposed to walking outside the boardwalk in AC at night, but because it's so close to other casinos AND right next door to a big Wyndham hotel (a very nice one), I didn't feel unsafe. The only drawback is that you aren't staying in a casino. Other than that, it was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay there again! Now, if you have small children...I'd say splurge and stay in an actual casino...that would just be an overall better decision.

Hotel Check-in was quick and friendly but the room was disgusting. Cigarettes ashes everywhere and burn marks on everything. A strong foul odor in the room. And to top it all off a dirty red thong in the closet. I wasnt in the room for more than 5 minutes before I asked for a refund. I do not recommend this place at all. The extra savings wont be more than the doctors bills.

Loved that it was next to the board walk. Too far from the outlets. Breakfast on consisted of dunkin donuts and coffee and juice which is fine for a quick thing. The coffee was really good. The roomI stayed in was nice even though one of the lights was out it didn't matter. I felt safe in the room.

It was very close to The House Of Blues. TV remote did not work well. This hotel is perfect for anyone who is planning on going to see a show at the House of Blue, it is very close to the Showboat Casino.

The Rodeway was great in terms of location with or without a car; I'd taken the NJ Transit train to avoid traffic, so preferred being within walking distance to the boardwalk and beach. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Check-out was at noon on Sunday but I wanted to spend a bit more time on the beach. The hotel manager was kind enough to allow me to leave my small bag at the front desk while I enjoyed some extra beach time. The room was standard; no frills. I did notice holes in the bed sheets - not good. The room did provide a small refrigerator and microwave, however, could have used a fresh coat of paint or new wallpaper, and new curtains, which were torn and ragged at the hem. My room faced N. Carolina Ave., and I had concerns about the noise level, but found the room relatively quiet, which was good. Conveniences (liquor store, food) was within walking distance, which was also a plus. And because of the close proximity to Resorts Casino/Hotel, taxicabs were readily accessible. I would have preferred a better rate for this hotel but assume that location and time of year dictated the rate. I would go again since I really simply needed someplace close to the boardwalk and beach, but would like a better rate or some additional amenities for the price. Perhaps a discount for a one-night stay would entice me to book Rodeway more often during the remainder of the summer.

The staff was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. One of the beds was not on a bed frame. There was no alarm clock in the room. The location was great, about a block from the boardwalk. There was a free continental breakfast. The hotel staff was very friendly. My only two complaints were that the room had no alarm clock and one of my double beds was not on a bed frame.

The Rodeway Inn was a very comfortable and affordable room.It is located in a great location just a few steps from the beach and boardwalk.I didnt have to drive anywhere everything was within walking distance. The room it self was very spacious and clean. The room had everything you needed including microwave, refrigertor and cable tv.Close to all casinos and right next door to the Resorts Casino.

Very close to casinos on the Boardwalk. It's a one star - dirty, cheap, and feels seedy. The hotel staff and location make up for the overall seediness and economy of this hotel. If you're coming to Atlantic City and don't want to pay for the glitz of Trump Marina or the Borgata, this pretty much meets your expectations. Good place to stay for the player who intends to game for most of the night and just wants to crash nearby. Also, free parking near the Boardwalk is a huge plus. I'd recommend if you want the aforementioned experience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, arranged late check out as I needed it. Older hotel. Older hotel and only two floors. Close to the board walk and casinos. Very friendly staff.

The room had a musty/smokey oder. The mattress was rock hard. The bed spread was nasty. The other guests were rude and noisy, 20-somethings that were up at 6:30 in the morning wrestling and screaming. This hotel is not a romantic or suitable destination for families with children due to the debauchery. I would personally not recomend it for anyone and I would never stay there again.
