Easy in and out to the smokies, nice pool, not great but satisfactory. Rooms need updated, felt like I was there in the 70's.

Although I had a confirmation of a King size bed and a non-smoking room, I was given a room with two double beds and it stank. The noise level was unbelievable. When anyone in adjoining rooms ran any water it was loud, as was the air conditioner turning on and off. The front door had a half inch gap under it and you could hear the conversation of people sitting outside on the walkway. The shower could scald you in the middle of your shower and remember to bring your own shampoo. I called Orbitz but they could not help as hotel simply said no other rooms were available. Simply stated, this hotel is very rundown and has not been kept modern. I will never stay here again.

We planned our visit around the Gaither's Family Fest & wanted to be near the Convention Center & also near the Log Cabin, where we enjoy having breakfast. That was the best part of our trip. The stay at this facility was not what we expected, though.Knowing that we would be late coming in on Friday, I did call in advance to the hotel directly to relay this & to check that we had indeed been given the room choice requested (handicapped). No, but she would give us one that we could just park and walk up a ramp to the room. So when we arrived, the gentleman at the desk gave me room keys and sent us down through the parking lot, up a side street, into another parking lot, and to a room on the 2nd floor. The husband went in to discuss another room with him, and was told that he should have booked DIRECTLY thru the hotel instead of using Orbitz. [Whoa now....didn't the owner have to make arrangements to contract with Orbitz? Why give US flack & bad attitude?]So we get a room...still on 2nd floor. We brought our new kitten because the Orbitz link for them says PETS OK. That gets us in deeper doo-doo with them.On Sat. when I called to ask for a later checkout because of the Gaither schedule for Sunday, the dude on the telephone gets downright rude, saying absoultely not. After talking to him a few more seconds, he tells me since the maid has reported that we have a cat in the room, we will have to be charged $10 extra per day so they can shampoo the carpet. [Did they shampoo after the smokers who used the room right before us? Don't think so!] Anyway, I was in complete shock, and would have NEVER, NEVER brought a pet to a hotel that did not allow them, but that the website did say pets were OK. After telling him this, he responds by saying that "[...] was trying to contact Orbitz right now about this". Still don't think the extra charge was fair, but he told me that if we paid the $20 we could have the later checkout. What do you do? I reluctantly agreed. This really ruine

This is an older mid-range motel with lots of traffic. It is a basic room, but with excellent housekeeping and an accomodating staff. It has a pool but no dining, and no jacuzzis.

i really liked the view from our room. you could see the mountains and a birds eye view of downtown gatlinburg. but, the air wasn't working well and the breakfast consisted of 2 kinds of donuts and coffee.there was no juice or milk for the little ones. i liked the fact that it was with in walking distance to downtown and seemed quite safe as we went to and fro.overall rateing a 5.

The Rocky Top Village Inn was nice for the money, the room was larger than most. It was clean, the main thing that I didn't like was the fact that the tv was from the 70's and the room needed more lighting, especially the vanity area. But the pancake house next door was FASTASTIC.

This hotel is in a good location to the main strip of Gatlinburg the money that you pay. It is a little walk but a very easy walk. It was comfortable and was ok for my husband and I. There were a few maintanance issues but as soon as I told the office they were going to take care of it ASAP. The staff was very friendly and it had a nice pool.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and larger than most. The water pressure in the shower was great. It was nice to have a vanity area outside the bathroom. The location was very near the convention center and many restaurants. I would definately stay here again.
