Staff was very pleasant, easy access to wonderful food. Bedding & room appointments were dated. Although we were guests in an off season we were properly greeted and cared for. The fact that the hotel restaurants were open and provided fine dining was a real plus. We were only disappointed with worn bedding and a bit outdated room appointments.

Newly decorated rooms, thank goodness, but done well for a resort in this price range. Still shabby on the outside. The room was small but we knew to expect that from the reviews of others, so that was ok. It had no view - actually that of other buildings. You could hear every footstep from above so I would recommend you stay upstairs, if you are going to stay here. The front desk clerk that helped us each time seemed "dense" and irritated at the simpliest of inquiries...never friendly and helpful.We wouldn't stay there again unless we had to especially after staying at Delta Lodge at Kananaskis and other quality resorts that let you know their clients are their main focus. You can sure tell a difference.

Clean comfortable rooms. Beautiful mountain views. A little outside Banff. could walk in, but wouldn't want to walk back at 1:00 a.m. Nice place.

We found our room to be clean & comfortable, though cramped. We were disappointed with the lack of common space to relax. After spending the day out, neither the lobby, deck, or patios by the rooms offered any ambiance or view of the beautiful Rockies.

This hotel is outside of town but a convenient drive. It is a nice distance from the hustle and bustle of Banff. The rooms are nicely decorated.

The room had just been remodeled and was quite nice. We had a kitchenette which was very well furnished. The room was quiet and the bed was good as well. With the restaurant costs so expensive, having the kitchenette saved us mucho dollars!

Cabin like hotel in mountain. Not so friendly. Nice cabin like hotel at the entrance of banff. Nice swimming pool and hot tub. Not so friendly service.

Our room was large and newly renovated. Our room was so newly renovated that it still smelled new. We had to sleep with our windows open in March to reduce the smell. The newly renovated rooms are certainly nicer and larger than the average hotel room. We had a room with large sitting area (couch, TV, bar, table) and a large bathroom. The hotel facilities weren't as nice as our room. My husband (who manages a pool and spa in a resort) wouldn't let our family get in the pool or spa. He said the chemicals were off. There are two restaurants on site. The casual restaurant (Peppers) was ok, not bad, not great, but convenient! Overall, it was a good place for a family to stay.
