Hotel interesante con dos graves problemasLa situación del Hotel en pleno centro turístico de Buenos Aires es dificilmente mejorableLos servicios del Hotel son correctos.El desayuno es bastante completo.Un grave inconveniente: la refrigeración es general. O toto el mundo pasa frio o calor. Si alguien está enfermo y no puede resistir el frio, hay que cerrar todo el sistema.Otro inconveniente: en la planta décima dia y noche los compresores de la refrigeración hacen un ruido ensordecedor que nos obligó a dormir con tapones en los oidos.

spent very little time in hotel. While there showered and slept. Did traveling and used hotel as base. However half the time they were "out of towels" Room was tiny, TV very bad reception, internet service cost 12USDollars/day for modem. Visitors given a bad time. Previous trips have not encountered these descrepencies! Staff cold and not friendly except for one lady receptionist who was very pleasant te others made me feel intruding. The local was ok. The last week I was staying in Buenos Aires and ended up changing hotels even though it cost me. I would not recommend this hotel.

Fue muy agradable mi estadía en este hotel, realmente es muy económico y el servicio y confort de las habitaciones es excelente. Solicité en recepción que me extendieran mi horario de salida que era a las 10.00 am y sin porblema alguno me pude quedar hasta las 13.00 hs sin abonar ninguna diferencia. Las habitaciones son chicas pero sumamente confortables , con muy buen diseño.

Its really confortable and I`ll recomend ir also for family plannig their holidays, The location is excelent and the facilities anda acomodation very very good.

Reception was friendly at check-in. Free WiFi in the lobby and breakfast are positives. Room was trendy but smallish and air-condition was centrally regulated, which really sucked. Would come again if bargain offering but for USD 100 there are better places in Recoletta and Palermo I would favor.

The Hotel is realy Great! We resive an excelent service and really good acomodations. Somothing that really need to notice is the breakfast, apart from the comfortable beds. I recomend it

The Rochester Concept hotel was in the ideal location of Buenos Aires to wander around and see the city...close to subway, walking streets, etc. The rooms are tight, but updated nicely. Breakfast is do-able. Free wifi in lobby cut out often.

I would have to disagree with the gentleman from Manchester. I thought living conditions were excellent accompanied by a friendly and helpful staff. I was also happy to find that it is right in the center of downtown Buenos Aires, hundreds of places to eat, visit, and have a great time. I wouldnt doubt for a moment returning.

We were in Buenos Aires only for a few days and did not spend much time in the hotel, the people were nice, helpful, the room was small but nice, clean and with everything we needed. Great location, walking distance to places like Florida Street, Pink House, Puerto Madero, El Obelisco.

I must say I am not happy with my experience at the Rochester Concept Hotel. They gave it a make over to make it look modern, but the building is old. The room is small and the piece of furniture that is supposed to be desk, closet, etc., is not practical. The bathroom lacks shelves and hooks. There is only a very small glass shelf over the sink. There was no blanket on my bed, my first night. Took them an hour, after 2 calls and one personal appearance by me at the front desk, to deliver it. One morning there was no hot water. And there is no individual control for the AC in the room. On the positive side, the breakfast is very good, with quite a variety of breads, cereals, juices, etc. Just don't have the coffee: it was horrible.

I stayd with my wife a cuple of nigth in Buenos Aires, and the staff from Rochester Concept help us with all our excursions, they get for us discoutns and suggest us the best restaurant in the city. The hotel is small but is very comfortable, and the location is great, all is near. The best was the breakfast.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not let the pictures fool you. The hotel smells musty, the rooms are small and musty (some of which appears through the paint), the hotel staff was not helpful at all. You not only need a key to get into the room but you have to use it to get out. Thats right, no door knob on the inside of the door (huge safety hazard in my opinion). During my entire stay in Argentina, my stay at the Rochester Concept Hotel was by far the worst experience of the entire trip. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

The room that I was given, did not have a table and chair, no dresser to put your clothes. The hotel staff told me that all rooms were the same to find out later that this was incorrect, they had bigger rooms

I stayd with my girlfriend in Buenos Aires visiting a couple of friends, we was looking for a cheep hotel, but with a good situation, my friend suggest me the rochester hotels, this chain have 2 hotels, rochester concept (3*) and rochester classic (4*), we choose the first one by the rate, but the 4* hotel was not so expensive. We made a comparation with other 3* in the zone, and really, the rochester concept is one of the best in its cathegory. Rooms are very new, and have an special decoration, furnitures are very moderm and the staff is excellent . The breakfast is great, have full of variety. The only wrong thing was the wi-fi conexion, some times it was working with problems, but the rest was very good.

This is not a hotel for seasoned travelers--there is no room for suitcases, the air conditioning didn't work, the staff did not look for us at breakfast to relay message from our travel agent, the price is not consistent with the offering. The breakfast was lovely however..

The Rochester Concept Hotel, is a great hotel for an overnight stay, however I would not recommend a long stay of more than 2 days, although Breakfast is great and the hotel is very clean. There is no storage space in the very small rooms, the bed takes 95% of the space and the Credenza/desk/closet unit uses another 3%. The bathrooms are very clean, but the design of the shower (the glass wall is too short) gets water all over the place, especially if your a big guy. The hotel is near, resturants and shopping, if it had some place to put your luggage and some drawers for storage, it would be a very nice stay because the staff is great and very attentive. Another word of warning, the AC is controled from downstairs and is for each floor not each room.

The Rochester Concept was good. It is on the heart of the city, one block from Lavalle street and 2 blocks from Florida Street. The rooms were small but very clean and it was serviced everyday. The hotel provide wi-fi at the lobby and in the restaurant zone, it?s free of charged. The staff was nice and the front desk staff is very warm. You can't beat the location. It's near everything. We walked most places."

We stayed in Rochester Concept in Maipu in Nov 07 for 3 nights. We had just landed in BA for a 3 week tour of Argentina so this was our first hotel in Arg reserved through Travel website. THE GOOD Reasonably ok buffet breakfast. Location - easy access to the Subte , plaza de mayo THE BAD We landed in BA at around 10:00 am and we at the hotel by noon. Their policy is check in inly at 2:00 pm so we were made to wait in the hotel lobby until 2:00 pm First imperessions about the rooms was that they ARE REALLY REALLY small. There are no closets but a place to hang your clothes by the TV. (Very Ikea-ish but definitely not a closet). No place to set your bags down. For USD $140 we paid, expected more. There is a constant drone of the elevators all evening and night. THE UGLY During checkout we had the same problem as the other reviewer. The hotel refused to honor our travel agency's resevations and would not even give them a call. They also charged us for the rooms in excess of what we paid to the travel agency. Complained to the travel agency and did get a refund back from them but not forthe excess I was made to pay. Feedback about the view ...Can be expected especially if you are staying in the city/close to downtown. The only view is of the concrete jungle. We did nt make a reservation for the view. THE VERDICT Not worth the price we paid. We stayed at another hotel for a couple of nights at the end of our trip (1 block from Oblesico) and got a much bigger room for the same price.
