Just a few blocks away from Puerto Madero, the obelisk, St Telmo and other main tourist attractions, very nice people, the building is a little old but nicely dress with lounge designs, the breakfast is fair enough and the price is very accessible. The hotel is very quiet, the rooms are comfortable and clean, there are no available areas for kids but you can spend some time in the affordable nice lobby bar at nights.

Good, clean hotel. The "last minute" rate made this hotel very affordable, and the desk staff was helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for an affordable hotel in el Centro.

Buenos Aires tiene un atractivo peculiar. imposible aburrirse , tiene actividades para todo el día y hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Verdaderamente la hemos aprovechado mucho y esperamos poder regresar el año próximo. Este año nos hemos alojado con mi mujer en el Rochester Classic por primera vez por recomendación de un amigo nuestro, la verdad que nos sentimos muy a gusto, el personal es excelente, la ubicación es fantástica, estás cerca de todo. Las habitaciones son muy confortables, a nosotros nos asignaron una habitación suite cuando teníamos reservada una standar y la verdad la encontramos muy linda. Si tenemos la posibilidad de regresar a buenos aires reservariamos directamente en este hotel nuevamente.

On a very noisy street (like any other in the center) but room faced an inner courtyard and was quiet. With window fan/a.c. I got enough air to be pleasant. Bed was good, room was small, bathroom was clean, staff was pleasant.

The Hotel is very good located , near Florida Street. The staff was great. The breakfast is full. The rooms are a little noisy becouse the hotel is on downtown, but in a high floor there is no problem.

I'll stay again. My bed was very comfortable, wireless internet in the lobby works, air conditioners were good, excellent water pressure etc. Room had a small sink for the kitchen area, small sitting room and was very quiet! The staff are great assets to this property, they spoke and understood English with excellence. Would go back anytime as i consider this excellent value for money, and the place is busy so they're doing something right. The free breakfast is awesome (thanks to the egg chef) and the restaurant there is frequented by locals not just the people staying at the hotel.

The hotel has been completely renovated. It reminded me of some boutique hotels in New York City . The rooms aren?t very big but they are clean, very well decorated with comfortable beds and wood floors. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about places to go. The location is great! Right within walking distance to some of the best places in Buenos Aires; shopping malls, bars, tangos, theaters, restaurants and historic sites. The services in the hotel include a lunch menu and an amazing breakfast. Also free WIFI in the lobby. Overall a great stay! Definitely recommend it!

I would definately recommend The Rochester! The "all you can eat" breakfast is to die for! Everything is very close by; like Puerto Madero, El Obelisco, Teatro Colon, many shopping malls, and hundreds of places to eat, tango shows,etc. The rooms were very tidy, services were excellent and although it is located on a busy street it is supringsingly quiet. You can look around for other hotels but you wont find a better stay for the money; and finally Buenos Aires as beautiful as ever! Good luck on your travels!

First of all, I'm fairly positive that the 'good' reviews on this page came from the staff of the hotel---because anyone who stays at this hotel cannot possibly give it such high reviews. The entire hotel has NOT been renovated....the rooms are TINY...the showers are TINY....the noise from the elevator is unbelievable. The prices are outrageous and overall, the info that the hotel gives to 'lure you in' is completely inaccurate and blatently falsified. They don't honor travel agency vouchers and prices and you are stuck with no alternative. There are too many OTHER hotels in B.A. to stay at for about the same prices as this one---pay the little extra and get a REAL 3-4 star hotel. This is a 2-star at best.

Los Hoteles Rochester presentan las facilidades necesarias para los que pasamos por Buenos Aires por negocios. Prestan servicio de WI Fi en el Lobby y en el restaurant del hotel , totalmente gratuito, y conexión en la habitación a un costo muy accesible. El servicio del front es muy eficiente y rápido. Las habitaciones son muy confortables y la limpieza está muy bien. El desayuno es excelente y los platos del menú ejecutivo están muy bien elaborados y presentan una carta muy amplia.

The hotel is clean, beautiful and has been totally reformated, is a new hotel. The location is very good. Area seems to be safe and entertaining. . Good for business travelers (free wireless in lobby, and paid highspeed in the room), or those who want a nice clean place to stay." The staff is extremly frendly, and have a personal attention.

the staff service is excellent. the hotel has been completely remodelled. the custamer service department provides accurate information about buenos aires and the many exciting things to do around downtown. the restaurant has a lovely menu and prices are very competitive.

The pictures ONLINE are great! The value ONLINE appears great. But the REAL rooms look almost nothing like the pictures...the beds are bad, sagging in the middle; The rooms are TINY. The first room they put me in literally looked like the decor in my great-grandma's house as a child. No parking nor place to check-in if you are in a car. After seeing the "real" conditions of the rooms, 5 minutes after checking in, they refused to let me check-out without charging me for the night--although they had completely MISREPRESENTED almost everything about the hotel online. Beware...it's not what it looks like.

"I booked this hotel based on the pictures. PLEASE BEWARE---this hotel is NOTHING like what they represent. The first room i checked into was a 1 star room at BEST-nothing like the pictures, old smell, old furnishings, old bed linens. After refusing to let me leave (I had been there 5 minutes) without charging for a night, they changed my room to one located next to the elevator generator or engine which i heard whine & roar all night long. The photos and descrips of this hotel are completely false except lobby paint-2 star at a 4 star price."
