Beware - 254 rooms - possibly 2 people in each room - 120 sun beds - just picture the problem, a nightmare. Don't believe the brochure there is no tennis court. Tennis is available at a local court, it cost us 50K a day. Big plus Dubrovnik is lovely, the staff were delightful. Hotel not offering 5 star accommodation.

This hotel is in a beautiful location and very close to the Old Town. The walk to the town is lovely. The hotel was a great disappointment as it has many rough edges and really is not providing the services of a 5 star hotel. The staff are charming and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Many of the fittings in the bedroom are cheap and the shower flooded into the room every time we used it. On a couple of occasions there was a shortage of towels. The swimming pool area was more like a building site and needed a good clean. The outdoor pool had many tiles missing from the bottom. The bar area by the pool was not functional and that whole area was not good. The pieces of equipment in the gym were broken. The whole hotel needs much done to make it into a five star hotel and we wouldn't recommend it in its present state. Dubrovnik is beautiful and the staff at the hotel were lovely.

Beautiful location, stunning hotelGreat experince at the Rixos...Spa is amazing, great location with fantastic facilities. Staff always there to help....even had some luck at the Casino! Recommend for sure

The rooms have a georgous ocean view and are completely private with a spacious deck. Dinner is a buffet style with a good choice. Old town was convenient and quick, you could enjoy the lovely 15 minute oceanside walk. The hotel staff were among the most polite and accomodatineg I have ever experienced.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to the old town. Beach right in front of the hotel. Excellent facilities, especially the gym. The only negative thing is that the rooms which have the best views (on the higher levels) are 'smoking'. I would have preferred to have been in a non-smoking room, with a good view.All up, it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. We even extended our stay by 2 days, because it was so good.

Fabulous Hotel - fantastic location, top notch serviceI only booked in for 1 night and did I not regret it. It was one of the nicest hotel I have ever been, the customer service was excellent. The location was fantasticl, our room overlooked the sea and it was really beautiful. There was an outdoor and indoor pool and a sun bathing area which overlooked the sea. The buffet breakfast was lavish and the quality of food excellent. I really enjoyed my stay in Rixos and wish I had stayed longer. I hope to return next year.
