Our room location was excellent! Right at ground level with the river just outside. Good time with coffee on the riverbank!

Location allows easy access to shopping center accross street, alternative dining locations and access to downtown area. Room was clean, well appointed, quiet, and looked out on the Deschutes River. His and her sink facilities in bathroom was nice feature, especially for the guys. The only drawback was facility remodeling underway, although very unobtrussive. Resort dining facility was excellent (had lunch and breakfast). I would stay again when in area.

My friend got married at the Riverhouse Resort, and we were lucky enough to attend. I would highly recommend a Bend, Oregon wedding. It was such a romantic location, and we found the staff to be helpful and caring. Our other friends and family members were really happy with their rooms and the kind service we received. Had we known in advance how awesome the location, the hotel and it?s staff were we would have planned for a longer stay and made a mini vacation out of it. The Riverhouse Resort is a great place to stay if you are into outdoor adventures as well. We certainly will return in the near future and stay longer indeed! Thank you Riverhouse for giving us a great introduction to Bend, Oregon and all it has to offer. See everyone soon!!!!!!

Although the room was fine and the location worked for what we were trying to do, three problems plagued our stay. First, the front desk only had our reservation for one night instead of the two booked online. Second, our room keys were unreliable. I had to leave my wife and two boys outside the room, in an unsecured building far from the front desk when I went to get replacement keys. Last, parking in our lot. This hotel has several buildings. If you're put in the West building, across the river form the rest of the hotel, there is not enough parking for all the rooms. I had to park in a lot far from our building. This is incredibly inconvenient when loading or unloading; it is worse in our situation with a toddler and a baby. Neither of the last two problems would have completely soured my view on the hotel, but for the fact that the front desk staff seemed indifferent to the problems and had no desire to "make things right."

I spent the entire time in my room with the slider open to the patio..the rushing river was so peaceful. Room was impecably clean and very well furnished and comfortable. My particular room was across from the top of one stairway and next to the stairway leading to next level...very noisy with inconsiderate people "tromping" up and down making a lot of noise most of the night (incidently there were several HS softball teams staying there for State competition...??? part of the problem???...not sure) Pool side was comfortable for reading...complete with umbrella's (I am NOT a "direct" sun worshiper. I used room service for dinner twice. Excellent meals, served hot. Excellent price for very high quality food and service.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the river. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in need of some updating,however,the setting makes up for it.

Have had 2 bad visits, 1st visit was given a room that hotel staff was using for a meeting, 2nd visit was given a room next to the lounge and the music from the live band was VERY audible until they quit playing at 10:45, very late for a early riser on business, front desk was not very accomodating for either situation

We went to the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center in Bend for the wedding of my sister. What a great experience! I helped her plan the wedding and I can’t say enough about the great care given to us by our wedding coordinator. The beauty of The Riverhouse makes any event a special one but the wonderful staff makes it even better. There were a few last minute changes and while we were stressed, they handled the changes beautifully and with ease. The staff made us all feel that everything would go perfectly and it did. A Riverhouse wedding is the way to go! You can tell they do this a lot because it seemed flawless from our end. The food was excellent and everything came out on time. The guest rooms for those of us who stayed were quite comfortable. I personally loved the Deschutes River view from our balcony and the large room and comfortable bed. Our other friends and family members were really happy with their rooms and the kind service we received. The operator was especially patient as we all called each other constantly and she always seemed to be patient. My sister needed to have the wedding near Bend and while there were other interesting options, like wedding halls and such, going with a hotel is so much better. Everyone gets to stay there, we were all together, you can just roll up to your room after the wedding and never have to get in a car. At the Riverhouse we all hung out together and it was really easy and convenient to have everything in one place. We highly recommend a wedding there, or even just an overnight stay. Thanks to everyone at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center.

Housekeeping was excellent, restaurant was overpriced and food was just ok, room was comfortable enough though refrigerator was so small it wasn't really practical (having basic kitchen amenities was nice though). OK place to stay on a budget.

Good place to stay. Roomsare clean. Restaurant prices are high. The free morningbreakfast does not start until 0700 AM, a little late for early risers and travelers.
