We really enjoyed this hotel and wished we had more time to stay there (stayed only one night). We had a 3rd floor room with a balcony overlooking the Napa River - nice view. There is also a lovely terrace on the river side where we enjoyed drinks and appetizers in the evening. The room was large and comfortable. The complimentary full breakfast was also a plus. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Proximity. No restaurant at the hotel. Hotel was above average. I would stay again.

The River Terrace Inn is conveniently located for easy access to almost all of the wineries in the Napa Valley and the restaurants and bars in downtown Napa. They serve a decent breakfast which is included in the price of the room. The rooms were very clean and the bed was excellent. All this for a very fair price. This room cost about $30 more than the old but nice little motel a mile from downtown with pretty bad beds and no free breakfast.

we looked high and low for a bed and breakfast in napa, but everything was either plastered in flowers and eyelet, or beyond our budget, so we chose the river terrace inn. it was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was very good (although no bacon, only salami). however, the staff was exceptionally helpful and accomodating. it is within walking distance of downtown napa shops, wine bars and restaurants and the return trip each evening was a nice way to work off dinner. we will not hesitate to stay at river terrace inn the next time we're in napa.

The hotel was very nice. They had a wonderful continental breakfast each morning. Very peaceful to eat or have a glass of wine on the patio. Also had a great library of DVD's you could check out (so you could watch a movie and have a glass of wine in your room). Very close to the wineries on the Silverdao Trail.

Colors and decor & bathroom amenities. Lighting in bathroom. It is a delightful hotel, the included breakfast was great, lots of variety. It's a quiet location and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was nice - a bit off the beaten path. Room was comfortable, although a little tired looking. Carpets could use a good cleaning. Service was warm and friendly, although the cleaning staff came a little too early every morning, especially the morning we were checking out - 8 am... Liked the fire pit outside on the terrace - a nice touch for cool mornings and cool evenings.

I really liked the River Deluxe with the Jacuzzi tub. The room had a nice balcony with a view of the river and trees etc.. Not too exciting but better than a view of a parking lot. Overall the Inn felt cozy and comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the staff was great!

The River Terrace Inn was perfect, I might say great, for the money. It was very clean with nice ammenities (granite counters in bathroom, etc) in the rooms. We thought it was very upscale for the price. The lobby was nice and the staff was upbeat and happy. The free breakfast was also a nice treat. The outside seating and backside of the hotel was okay, but clean nonetheless. The weather in Napa was almost too perfect, so I would have sat anywhere outside if they didn't have table and chairs available. We loved this place!

We had a room facing the Napa River with a lovely view, and despite a large number of people on the patio below there was no noise transmission into the room. The rooms were well appointed and furnished. They went to a great deal of effort during design, construction and commissioning to make sure this place was luxurious yet very green and environmentally friendly. The bedding, towels and personal items provided were of a very high quality. They serve a well prepared breakfast buffet as part of the rate and have a full service bar adjacent to the lobby. They do not have an in-house restaurant and that affords a visitor the opportunity to try a number of the fine dining spots like Celadon which was only across the river.

We've stayed at the River Terrace Inn several times, and each time has been wonderful! We will stay there again this Feb. for our 3rd anniversary. We take advantage of the 3rd Night Free promo and it is absolutely the best deal in Napa if you can stay during the week. The staff is great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to everything...and within walking distance of downtown. We highly recommend the River Terrace Inn!!!

Because I booked with (a third party), the hotel would only let me have certain rooms, so ended up on the first floor. This hotel is special because of the river behind it but because of the first floor level, we couldn't see anything. But worse of all, when I returned, River Terrace charged my credit card for the stay which had been PREPAID.

The River Terrace Inn was very nice. The room was comfortable and very clean. The jacuzzi tub was a good size and double shower head was nice too. Location was also good. Very close to downtown and easy access to Silverado Trail. Breakfast was really good and had a variety of items.

When we arrived the manager was not able to find our reservation and did not offer to call the booking agent to confirm our prepaid reservation. Because we went through Orbitsz we were immediately downgraded to third-class guest. The rooms are large, clean and well furnished but overpriced even for Napa. The hotel not to be warm and romantic but cold and indifferent. Breakfast of O.K. but nothing special. Most of the amenities here are ala carte so bring lots of extra cash you will need it.

The rooms were nicely done, but the bathroom was the best part. The double head shower & vanity area made you feel like you were in a spa. Also the complimentary breakfast had the best selection I have ever had. Not just coffee and some muffins, but eggs, cereal, breads, fruit, cheese, potatos, & healthy alternatives as well. Very nice patio area in which to eat, or comfortable lounge area.

Great shower and bathroom. Bedding was uncomfortable. Overall the hotel was beautiful and close to the Wine Train. Room was huge with nice flat screen TV. The pillows were really uncomfortable. My fiancée did not sleep well because of it.
