TV limited, no WIFI (without paynig $9), everything but the room seemed expensive. Good location, lobby was pleasant, it was easy to find your way around, parking was good. I only stayed one night to gamble and that was fun and the cocktail waitress was really nice and good.

My friend and I both enjoyed our stay immensely. We enjoyed being on the bottom floor (4th) as we could look directly out to the river and watch all the action. Wonderful view!

Pool was very small so crowded. They didn't turn the air on in the hallways, the casino, hallways and were dirty and had spider webs. The elevators didn't work. Took about and hour just to get an iron. That by that time wasn't needed anymore. There was crickets in the bathroom in our room. The ice machines never had any ice. Between the entire family, we had 11 rooms and no one will ever stay there agian. It was the worst hotel we've ever stayed at.

Arrived on a Friday night(10:00PM). Check in line took 1:15 to check in. 3 out of about 8 windows open. Told by other staff members ?it?s always like this on a Friday or worse?. After check-in, nice room poorly kept. Looked like someone just made bed very fast and left it for next guest. Cigarette ashes all over toilet, clogged sink, light bulb on lamp next to bed burned out, free standing lamp didn?t even have light bulb. Called housekeeping, said they would be up to fix. At 12:30AM, still no one. Hung Do Not Disturb sign and went to bed. At 1:30AM, loud knock announced ?housekeeping?! Asked them to come back in AM. Called again to ask housekeeping to fix items. Still not done after we returned Saturday night. Complained at desk, attitude was they could care less. Finally someone came to unclog sink Saturday night, but said they were out of light bulbs! Spend a couple extra bucks and stay ANYWHERE but here

Good location by the river. No refrigerator and no iron and ironing board, and very fewTV channels. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but it lacked basic necessities such as an iron and ironing board and a small refrigerator, which I feel should be standard items in any hotel room.

Hotel has seen better days, but service was good, both in booking and food service. Room needs some maintenance, but was not expensive and had great view of the river. Ate meals at the cafe; service was quick and food was great.

This hotel is supposedly not doing well financially and was recently taken over by another co. You can tell by the lack of consideration given by hotel staff. The room smelled like it was full of mold and mildew. The restroom smelled like someone had urinated all over the place. The buffet was constantly running out of food and you had to keep asking to have items replenished. Not a good value at all. The parking garage was not well lit and did not appear to be very secure. Waste of money on the room. Pool in need of repair. Chairs were not in good shape and the deck was very old and cracked.

The restaurant was excellent especially if you love seafood. If you don't care for shell fish you will be very disappointed. The room was old looking musty and not very clean. The hotel was old and the rooms lacked modern amenities. There was no free internet and a shortage of outlets. The beds had old mattresses that weren't comfortable. The pool was overcrowded and many people were violating the no diving policy making it difficult for small children to enjoy. Several patrons were drunk and disorderly in the pool area before being escorted away. The restaurant was good for shellfish lover's. They provided fresh shellfish at a reasonable price. The other food offered on the buffet was nasty. It tasted like packaged and prepared food from a can. The sauce for the ribs wasn't authentic and the pasta sauces tasted like canned items. The pies and cakes were some type of pre-frozen desserts that were thawed and served.

Jan 19, 2009 we made our second trip to Laughlin to celebrate a friends milestone birthday. We were even given upgraded rooms at no additional charge when we arrived. We discovered a new poker/blackjack game that is an upright large flat panel design where you feel like you are dealing with a real person. Not only did we win regularly it was much more fun than the traditional video games. Now if they would get the giant Wheel of Fortune I would be a happy camper. We had excellent service daily and really enjoyed the comfort food in the cafe downstairs. We will return.!!! OOPS, read the hints on the right before you comment on the booking process. Just being helpful. We had a really great experience and gladly recommend The River Palms.

We came for the 4th of July Show and just had a great time. It was blazing hot but cool in the Hotels. The buffet called the Island Buffet was not that great. All of the food tasted like it was frozen and then Microwaved. The Lodge Steak house was great. The elevators were very busy and we had to wait almost 30 minutes at check out time. We will be back next year and would recommend the River Palms.

The price was reasonable. The room was a nice size. The room was not what we reserved. The room was a nice size, however we reserved a non smoking room overlooking the river. We got a smoking room overlooking the parking lot. One lamp had no light bulb. We had to ask for towels after the first day. They were not replaced by the maid service and only one bed was made. The staff was nice about the towels and brought us more than enough.

Check-in time is at 3pm. We got there at 6am and the gentleman at the front desk asked us to come back aroud 8am and if they had rooms ready they would allow us to check in early. When we went back to check at 8am we were told the system was down and could not help us at all. I understand it can be frustrating for any employee, but to give a bad attitude to the customers is just not fair. There were several people coming in trying to check in and all they said the system is down and walkaway. On one of the days, the room was made sometime after 6pm. I doubt I'll stay at this hotel again.

rooms were filthy, in need of repairs, management refused to discuss problems with us, employees attitudes were horrible
