French and quirkySo convenient, although of course many other hotels in the immediate vicinity. Walking distance to the Louvre and Musee d'orsay and Ile de cite and all the great shops etc of the left bank. Was very french cheaper hotel ...... the smallest lift i have ever been in ...... mainly old fashioned bathroom but with an ultra modern basin, low divan type double bed all old or inexpensive and mainly wood chip on the walls BUT comfortable bed, masses of hot water, clean and staff that could not have been more helpful ....... so good value and sure if you pay more you should get better decor but how much time do you spend in your room with the light on !!!

Clean, small but functionalClean, small but did the trick. SUPERB location! Could see the Louvre from the balcony window. Some of the rooms are very small but they have character and anyway you're in Paris what more do you want than clean room, comfy bed and hot water in your own bathroom!?
