This hotel has beautiful scenary and two outstanding pools. One pool is absolutely massive (three pools in one) and the other is big as well, but more private because everyone else is hanging by the huge pool (we prefered the smaller pool because it was less crowed - loved it!) There are many excurstions to do, but BE CAREFUL! We got gipped on a few trips (ending too early). The food wasn't great, it is what's expected on a 3.5 star resort. Great service, but NO room service so don't plan on falling asleep and waking up at 11PM looking for food! Other than that, the location was great, 5 minutes away from all the main bars of Cabo. Under 35 highly suggest El Squid Roe - sooooo much fun!

Very friendly staff. Great food. The bars actually serve you and are not stingy with the alcohol. the entertainment was pretty good. Cabos has the best weather of all Mexico.

It was brand new and everything was in great shape. Also, it was huge and offered something for all. The swim-up bar was too far away from our room. All-Inclusive and that nice. I checked all the other resorts and for just a regular room with out the all inclusive, they were more than we paid here. Awesome place! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Went deep sea fishing which was amazing. The fish that we caught were filleted for us and then we dropped them off at one of the restaurants at the resort in which they made 3 courses that were just incredible. Went scuba diving for the first time which was incredible too. Lots of stuff to see and did the class and dove the same day. Such a great and fantastic time. No real problems at all. Kind of a touristy town though...

The RIU Santa Fe was a great place especially for the value. Would go back there again. Location was excellent (one minus is that the beach is small and cannot swim there - but there are plenty of great pools). The grounds were spotless. Food was great. Service was good for the most part, but not over the top.

Very friendly and fun personel, cacti landscaping, pool. Awful wine, humid room due bad AC,15 minutes walk to beach. I'm not a big fan of all - inclusive formulas, but for the $ this was quite acceptable. Property very nice actually. Buffet restaurants not bad, the specialty Italian restaurant was good, but same bad wine there and in all restaurants. Was hoping the specialty restaurants would offer better wine at least. Animation could be better, but not bad. Young families and seniors well received and appeared to feel at home. As expected though, Pacific not for swimming - quite dangerous undertow. Personable, friendly, helpful, beautiful staff all round, though which is the most value a hotel can offer.

Great service, clean, orderly, attentive and generous staff. Hard mattress, poor light in bathtub, not clued in about dinner reservations, overpriced web access. Hotel Riu Santa Fe is a beautiful and practically complete world within a world among an array of Cabo hotels and resorts. It took a few days to get accustomed to the all-inclusive way of life there, but the learning curve was enjoyable. The staff is exceedingly accommodating and very friendly and pleasant. The food in the buffet-style main restaurant was excellent and varied enough to almost not need to make any other reservations. It was the perfect jumping off pad for various other adventures offered by the town. The only thing that could have made it even better would have been a shuttle to the downtown area to avoid parking and drinking/driving situations. But there were enough opportunities to meet people and drink around the hotel that going somewhere to pay for the privilege almost seemed superfluous. The stage shows were family friendly and fun, but not enough of a substitute to avoid downtown entirely, if some sort of live entertainment is expected. The musicians who came to the tables at dinner were delightful and very good. All in all, a memorable and relaxing experience. I've already recommended it highly to several friends who are likely to afford such a trip.

The Riu was absolutely worth the money!! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay there amazing!The bad part of the stay there was when we checked in they had over booked the suites with private jacuzzi and so we had to stay in a regular suite for a few days.......other then that if was amazing. The food was great, the staff was awesome and always there to help and the whole hotel was very clean.

The pools and the ocean are beautiful. No complaints. Excellent hotel/resort. Location is close to Cabo San Lucas town. Food was great. Hotel rooms/gym/restaurants are all very clean. Helpful staff.

I know this isn't the fanciest hotel out there, but we really liked it. The staff was wonderful - very eager to please. The room was very nice and the food was good. The location leaves a little to be desired. We couldn't swim on the beach near the hotel because the waves were too rough and it was a $10 cab ride into town. I would definitely stay here again though.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The food is average and you can hear people in the halways of the hotel when you are in your room. But over all the price of the package is worth the money. Staff is very friendly and the resort is very clean. I would go back again.

RIU Sante Fe was a nice resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. Rooms include liquor dispenser and mini bar with waters, sodas, and beer and if you run out before they re-stock you can call for more but they start at 10:00am so be mindful of that if you are running low on waters. The property is very large so be prepared to do a lot of walking. The food is not good. We've been to several all-inclusives and would have to say this one had the worse food of them all. We were only able to get into one specialty restaurant and that was the Italian restaurant and were very disappointed with that food. The pools were nice and the ones by building 7 had a great view of the ocean. There were lots of chairs around each pool but the trick was finding one that provided some shade. Staff was friendly but don't expect to be catered to. Resort is not that far from downtown but would not consider walking especially in the heat of the day. Activities staff were entertaining throughout the day. We had a good time but will probably not go back due to the size of the resort and the horrible food.

We had a great time, super location and so many fun things to do right at the resort. The resort is quite large and takes a lot of time to get from rooms my the ocean to the main building for breakfast. Great staff and atmosphere.
