This Hotel is in a great location, they are at the moment doing some re-modeling to the Dining Room and the Rooms, none of this interfered with our stay at the Ritz. Very friendly staff one lady Dorothy on the front desk was so helpful.Loved the meal we had at the Restaurant on the top of the Ritz, food was great and the view was awesome. I would stay at the Ritz again, and would recommend this Hotel to Friends and Family visiting this area.Our first visit to South Africa, we will be back.

Located close to everything. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms were clean however had trouble with the washroom. But otherwise would recommend to a friend.

Did what it said on the tin! Paid £30 per ROOM inclusive of huge buffett breakfast, needs a lick of paint here and there, but a great location with great views, and a stunning revolving roof top restaurant. Would go again!

The hotel needs major rennovation soon. The rooms are not well maintained. Even TV programs are limited to one or two local channels. The room upkeepers are substandard. During my stay of 3 days bed sheets were never changed and even worse the bed itself was not made. Simply the blankets were spread on the bed. I am therefore disatisfied with the room. But the reception girls were great. They go out of their way in arranging Safari and taxi services and help in other custemer friendly activities.

I was very pleased with everything. Sure, the walls are thin, but it was quiet in the evening. the breakfast was excellent. The staff extremely friendly and polite.

Great hotel. location is good, very close to V&A Waterfront in Cape town, about 30-40 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi. Check in service is excellent and efficient, I had to call the reception about a problem with the air conditioning, the problem was resolved within 5 minutes by the maintenance guy.

good value for the money. Rooms were in need of some upograding but the essentials were there. The buffet breakfast was excellant.

House keeping of rooms could be better but this is down to the individual cleaner and floor being serviced. The curtains and carpets are long over due for replacement. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel the pool area was being refurbished and there was no other outdoor area to sit and relax in during the day or evening. The hot breakfast can only be commended, something for everyone. Once refurbishment is finished this hotel will be 4star. Will stay here on my next visit to Cape Town.

It was value for money due to the deal through hotelclub.com but the hotel rooms were very outdated. We had to be moved (room 202) as the security safe in our room wasn't working, (along with the hair-drier and TV). The new room (room 201) was just as outdated and tired this time with inoperative air conditioning. When we complained they said that it was being repaired but we later found this untrue. There were no controls for adjusting the temperature anyway. (Hair-drier and TV also not working). House-keeping was very good and breakfast was also of a very good standard and the parking was secure but the rooms were awful and would certainly not stay there again.

This hotel was a very good deal. Location is excellent. Close to Waterfront and the city centre. Services are all good as is the breakfast. There is also a nice restaurant on the top floor. They also just renovated the pool. The rooms are only problem. They need updating and are maybe a little dirty. But still I was satisfied with the hotel.

Good nice and Big Hotel at a good location. However, the rooms are required to be renovated. We changed 2 rooms before we got the nice one. The staff was very friendly and the service was good.

We requested a non smoking room but on arrival the room allocated stank of smoke and was tatty, the bed was uncomfortable so we requested another room which could only be given to us the following day. The new room was great. Be aware that this hotel caters for very large conferences. The staff were extremely willing and helpful.

For the price it's a good deal and I would stay there again.... Take in the resturant on the top floor. Good food and it rotates so that you can view all of cpetown.

A little bit oldies Hotel but the staff and service and location in Seapoint, excellent! They are busy upgrading floor by floor and we will stay their again.
