My Brother and I arrived only to find out the they had no double beds available. They had no solution. Your website does not give you the option. It is only either or. When we got the room there was a dog constently barking. I asked twice to see waht they can do about it. When I went to lay out on the patio there was bird fecies all over the loung chairs. I asked them to change the chairs. They simply brushed all it and left the stained pad right there. The Hotel was empty and could not understand why we would have such poor service. Iwill always remember The Ritz experience I just had and would think again about using Orbitz because I just believe the two were linked in some way.

Class and elegance. Another guest's dog barking, all night and the next day. Excellent, except for the dog.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 8 nights in August 2008. I loved this place. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The service exceptional. The food was very good. After going to the Strip; it was always so nice to go back to our quiet, serene piece of heaven. If you don't mind being 20 minutes from Las Vegas, I highly recommend staying at the Lake.

Snobby boring and uptight... This hotel is loud and over priced. you can hear everthing around you. The food sucks and the staff doesnt care about your concerns.. I had two rooms and my guests had all the same problems. Prepare to walk a mile to your room. So many other choices in and around for far less money and better service..

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz while on our honeymoon. The customer service was outstanding and the rooms were very nice. We received a free room upgrade when the staff found out we were on our honeymoon. This is a gret place to stay for those who want to visit Las Vegas without staying right on the strip. The hotel has a Mediterranean look to it and there are many little shops within walking distance of the hotel. The room service seemed expensive but you can find food at the little shops and a casino at the resort. There was also plenty of entertainment for couple and families. They had a movie night by the pool one night during our visit. There are also a variety of spa services available. The Vegas strip, Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam are also within a close driving distance.

staff was great, very attentive. club level was great. golf courses were great. ritz handled all transportation needs. if they keep this up, they will be stuck seeing us for a week each fall. we made this our final golf vacation prior to the long, cold, snowy chicago winter!!!

I thought the location was beautiful and it was remote but had its own village. Every single member of staff expected to be tipped and they didn't let you park yourself, just valet. It was a great stay even though it is in a remote location (which turned out to be a plus). The staff was courteous and enjoyable, however when we arrived we were told we couldn't park our car ourselves, only by valet (even though the car park was literally 30 feet from the front door. Then we were expected to tip every single time we got our car which just seemed excessive. Otherwise the facilities were incredible and well maintained, there was even a little village which hosted many different shops, restaurants and even a casino that had live music every night we stayed (during memorial day weekend). One other complaint though was that they did not have a shuttle service to the strip or anything so you had to drive your own car into town (about a 30 minute drive but easy). Taxis cost up wards of 65$ so that just seemed to be an absurd situation. It was a great place and the views of Las Vegas lake were spectacular with paddle boats etc. The actual room itself was in great condition and looked immaculate. I would definitely stay there again.

We made a reservation for a family of 4. When we arrived we got a room with a queen bed. The Concierge said they not guarantee they have rooms with 2 queen. So after they installed a rollaway bed (just 1) they charge us * for this "extra service", even when the room was paid for 4 people. Next: in the next door room there was a dog barking all night long, despite our numerous calls to the concierge desk. Pool : small and crowded. resuming: over-rated and very bad service. Lake Las Vegas is Beutiful though. Go to the other hotel there!

The staff is excellent and kept checking to see if everything was good. The pool was not very busy and there were not that many people, but the water was salty & dirty. My family absolutely enjoyed this hotel. We loved strolling through the village and there was no smoky air. Also, the staff is excellent and provided top notch service.

We got to the Ritz Carlton and the first thing we noticed was how friendly the staff was. Amazing service. The place is beautiful, and the village surrounding is nice as well. The downside is how overly expensive everything was. Every time I needed something my pocket got MUCH lighter. Also, our expensive room was very small and outdated.

We went there to celebrate our 6 yr anniversary. Wrong room at first, then given one with no lake view, even though we paid for one. Room had bugs over each light, robe was stained, chewed up straws in drawers. Horrible experience; management did little to rectify. Checked out early and went to Bellagio.

"Stained carpet, dreary old furnishings. We were in the Club Level, had to ask for soap! Pool area always messy. Dining SLOW. "

My family and I stayed at the Ritz last summer. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is wonderful and corteous. There are plenty of children's activities. The pool is FABULOUS! The lake and the activities around it are very impressive. Though it is only a twenty minute drive from Vegas it is World away. This hotel is great. I recommend staying on the CLUB level.

I had such a great time when I stayed here. I brought my Chihuahua and even he enjoyed it. The staff was extremely friendly and this is by far my favorite hotel to stay in when I'm in Vegas.
