A gorgeous white-sand beach, fun activities for kids, a spa, a world class restaurant for dinner, beautiful rooms and suites that are very well insulated and have awesome views and lovely balconies. The Ritz on Amelia Island is of my favorite destinations for romantic or family get aways!

We love this hotel, and have spent several birthday and special occasions here. The accomodations are perfect, the rooms are spacious, and comfortable. The service is outstanding and the food............absolutely 4 star! The spa has been renovated, but my experience was not as satisfactory as other spa exeriences. I'd pass on the spa next time.

My husband and I wanted to take our 3 year old twin boys to the beach one last time before the winter. We had the most fun at the Ritz Carlton. The staff was very nice and helpful. They also were especially kind to my children, giving them high fives in the lobby, and several remembered their names! The resturants were fabulous and convienant. The beach access is wonderful, and the kiddie pool and playground were the perfect setting for the boys to play. My husband and I were able to play with the kids and have a relaxing drink by the pool. Will go again next year, and hope to stay longer! Would definitely recommend to familys!

Gracious, friendly, attentive, exceptional service. Salt restaurant is 5 star and is expensive, but worth it.Best hotel on the island. Great place to relax and enjoy the beach and ocean.

Excellent location. We ate IN the Kitchen in Salt. Absolutely well worth every cent! (MANYMANY CENTS!!) Buffet in the cafe....not worth it. Sunday Brunch well worth it.

Had acitivies for both my boys of 8 and 14 years old. 8 yo had great time hunting for shark teeth while my teenage son had a great time in the teen center. Food was excellent and the service was 5 stars, just like we expected from a Ritz Carlton. Celebrated our son's 8th birthday at Ritz and when we checked into our room, there was a plate of delicious cookies, a frisbee and a birthday card for him. What a great touch. Will be staying there again this August.

The hotel was very beautiful and I can understand why it is a favorite choice for weddings. What I don't understand is why there is no ""adult"" pool. Also, there seems to be no ""off limits"" for toddlers and youngsters as they were dancing in the lounge a 9pm while my husband and I enjoyed a cocktail. The pool area is extremely crowded with families with small children and large rubber pool toys. I love children but I wish I had known that the Ritz catered to children and I would have chosed a more restful, quiet getaway. My lunch (fish) wasundercooked and had tobe sent back.

My stay could not have been more wonderful. The service is 5 star!!! The new Spa better than any other Spa I have ever experinced. There is a really great new program and lounge for Teens at the hotel. And a new billiards lounge for couples.

"the hotel was wonderful, the beach incredible, the service incredible, but all meals had to be taken at thehotel, which was a bit pricy for a family"

"Overall, we had a pleasant experience but the service was not as we expected from a 5 star hotel. Previous guests left a strong smoke odor in our room. It took three calls before the staff actually cleaned the odor. The beds were a little worn. The meal at the Grille was surprisingly good. The pool was nice. The hotel has excellent ocean views and beach access. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"When we first drove through to the hotel we were impressed with the sights. The employees were very helpful and accomodating. Everything was very nice except for one thing, the beds. My husband and I sleep on a select comfort bed and the bed at the hotel was old and sagging in the middle. The views were incredible but the beach had a lot of shelling and hurt your feet. I recommend you stay by the pool and eat a meal at the cafe. The Ritz has the best course on the island but it does not compare to Myrlte Beach."

Good view of the beach... A little sterile but other than that a nice hotel.

The hotel has incredible views. The food at both the grill and the cafe was excellent. I will return
