We had a 20 hour layover in Dubai, so we booked this hotel to rest at. We checked-in, exhausted, at 10pm and were told at check-in that Breakfast wasn't included with our rate. We booked this hotel via Orbitz TLC (phone, not internet) and were assured that breakfast would be included with our rate. The hotel staff tried to charge us for breakfast. After 4 phone calls to Orbitz and a strong talk with the hotel staff, we finally got breafkast included in our rate. It was a hassle and we didn't appreciate it. Also, we are a couple and when I booked with Orbitz TLC I specified we wanted 1 large bed. When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a room with 2 twin size beds!

The hotel was okay for the price and the staff were very friendly. The only problem was it was so close to the streets so you can hear the cars on the streets.

The hotel staff was friendly. But the location was not close to any of the atrractions like they said in there add! I would not stay there again if i went back.

This hotel is located in Bur Dubai, a short taxi from the Creek and the markets. While the hotel itself is in a bit of an odd area, its proximity to the older (and more cultural) parts of town made it ideal for our trip. We liked being able to hear the call to prayer and be away from the tourist locations. We got a great deal on Orbitz ($55 a night!). The rooms were very large, the bed was firm and the sofa/ seats were a bit worn. The place was very clean in general. For the price, this hotel was excellent. Not for anyone who wants luxury but ideal for the budget traveler. Hotel staff was pleasant.

Most of the staff were nice and very accommodating. The size of the room was okay. The only problem was that the washing machine was manual and the flat iron is already very old which makes ironing very difficult and messy.
