I was there with my wife visiting her father and my niece. The hotel was nice and the staff was very professional. Anytime we needed something the staff provided us with it. The only negitive aspects of the trip was the fact that the air condtioner was to loud for comfort sleeping. And there is construction being done nearby, and if you chose to sleep later then 10 am you will be awaked by the noise from the site nearby. Also because certain areas of nearby towns and some local areas in the city are considered unsafe, the hotel will provide you with their private transportation, which cost about 2000% or more than the average city transportation sevices. If in the future I did to return to Pananma City I would consider staying there again.

This hotel is very nice and the staff is very helpful especially if you want to set up your tours from there. We had 4 days there and had a lot to see - we arranged everything through the business center and the tour guides at the entrance of the hotel. The drivers were extremely nice and helpful. One recommendation if booking a air/hotel package deal - DO NOT get the airport/hotel transport with Gamboa Tours - they are way tooo expensive and we had a problem with the pick up on the day we left. Arrange pickup through the hotel directly - it is much cheaper and the day you leave will go easier also.Recommend seeing Casco Viejo and the Miraflores locks on the Panama Canal.

Nice hotel and good location. Staff went out of their way to help out and were all very friendly. Location is a little noisy but from wht we saw that is what you get in Panama City. A good value for everything offered.

Convenient for business due to its location. Extra price, Reception slow and complicated, Family pretension with a smoky casino. Hotel with casino however pretends to be family friendly. Extra price not justified.

The staff was quite helpful and answered all concerns and questions as quickly as possible. I don't speak much spanish and they not much english but we were able to communicate by being patient and courteous. The room was very nice and spacious and there were enough english speaking tv stations so watching tv at night was not boring. Overall a very pleasant stay in a very cosmopolitan and growing city.

Upon arrival the casino entrance looked like a Brothel and the side street that leads to the Parking entrance reeked of urine and vomit. At the front desk, in spite of several attending only two customers took over 20 minutes to get checked in. In the room the finishing was not very good and the air conditioner sounded like a 747 on take off. Throughout our stay the front desk staff was disconnected and generally not very helpful. Upon check out the staff could not comprehend the need to leave and make a flight on time and treated us with disdain, then took her time on purpose in spite of the fact that I made it a point to stop by and go through the check out procedure the night before in order to expedite the process in the morning. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances that are not an emergency!!

The continental breakfast should be renamed to the Executive's breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared by real Chefs. With star rating of the hotel, the majority of the staff should speak English. The food was delicious, nice amenities, good location within the city, however check-in time took much too long and the rooms are over priced.

We enjoyed our stay, staff friendly, helpful in our daily travel arrangments ,room comfortable, morning breakfast buffet a convienent way to start the day. Served great coffee! Good restaurants within walking distance...Negatives- did not have towels on arrival, soap kept disappearing...easily corrected witha call to housekeeping. We never saw a slipper or robe ..

The room was large and spacious. The tiling seemed new. The lobby was filled with cigar and cigarette smoke. The wait in line to check in was very long after a whole day of traveling. This hotel is located in the hub of the action. If you want to be on the main drag - this is a great location. There is a casino located right in the hotel which adds to the action, noise and smell of smoke.

Staff was very helpful. Room and beds were comfortable. Hotel needed a little touch up. Overall I felt like we stayed at the best possible place. The location was perfect.
