A 5 star hotel with a one star management. Do not trust the prices on the booking nor the services and facilities available. Be prepared to demand what you are entitled and pay for on every day you stay here. Their personnel are friendly and attendant but this is a hotel wrongly placed among the leading hotels.

The King of Kings.....What a great base to see Barcelona from. Do as little or as much as you want but its safe to say that to come back to this hotel after experiencing the sites of Barcelona is a pleasure. Staff are courteous and willing to offer a vast array of alternatives depending on what you want to eat, see or do. The gardens and swimming pool and grounds are incredible and its only a stones throw from the tube line so getting around is a doddle. Get an east facing room any higher than the 5th floor and be prepared for the panoramic views of the city. Managed to get in to the polo club next door to watch a Chukka or two on the Saturday which just about tops it all off. A Great way to see a fantastic city...

hotel very grand and imposing, room a bit dated for the price. we have stayed in better 4 star hotels. breakfast very expensive and hot buffet was cold, chef could not cook poached eggs. pool cafe poor value and staff not very good. grounds absolutely fabulous, lovely pools and spa. desk concierge did not even have the good manners to ask if we had enjoyed our stay as we checked out and paid him 1068 euros for 5 nights. we were a bit disappointed and would not stay again

This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and grounds.The only drawback is the location which is more on the outskirts of town (near airport if you like this) and you must take the subway or taxi to get into the city ceter or beach.

A country resort in the city! This hotel is all it promises. Wonderful public spaces, modern accommodations, and a terrific gym and swimming pool.
