Great PeopleMy room was spacious and well lit. The bathroom was also of good size and well furnished. I was very happy with my accommodations. Undoubtedly though, what made Rewley House a great experience was the staff. Everyone, from the cleaning ladies, to the front desk receptionists were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if they could accommodate me and provide a package for longer stays.

Central accommodation in OxfordGood central location. Quiet square/street. Clean and comfortable room. Stayed in the annexe so had a short walk (50m) across the square to breakfast. New corridor carpets laid while I was there! Good cooked breakfast. Friendly staff and guests.

Good locationRecieved a very warm welcome from reception, Friendly and helpful.Directed to the room around the corner from Rewley house in a different buliding which wasnt expected.Room was adequte. Standard student type accomodation (as i remember from my student days) which meant the cost of £60.00 room only for the night seemed more than it was worth. Room was at the front of the building overlooking Wellington Square, right next to it was probably the kitchen in Rewley House. As the weather has been so warm we had to keep the windows open, this led to a bad nights sleep not down to the warmth but the due to the extraction (or something) in the kitchen going on and off all night. We had a very early start that morning so this was not what we wanted.

you get what you pay forThis is not a real hotel!!when we arrived we realised that we were stayin in student halls which they use for guest accommodation out of term time. However my room was clean basic with a great location close to the city but you can still get a good nights sleep.I didn't like the check out time, 9:30am !!!!!

Nice! This hotel is actually part of one of the Oxford University and is a great place to stay in Oxford when you're on a budget. Service is friendly and the rooms are simple and clean throughout. All the bedlinen was spotless and the shower and bath worked perfectly. A nice place to stay for not much outlay!

Good quality inexpensive accomodation in a residence for continuing education students.Simple inexpensive twin room in a house in Wellington Square. Good quality for the price. Stayed there with my son, visiting the University for an Open Day. Convenient for town centre, 10-15 minute walk from the Rail Station. Arrived late, no issues with them keeping rooms late for us. Next day, when checked out, we were able to leave luggage there until late evening. Would recommend to others looking for cheap, clean, practical and convenient accomodation.

A comfortable, spacious, en suite twin room in the heart of Oxford at outskirts prices! The accommodation is on the third floor of what looks like a private house on a leafy square right in the heart of town. There is metered parking available around the square. We left our car in one of the Park and Rides until the late evening on Saturday and almost all meter spaces were empty when we returned to the room around 11 pm. Parking was free from 6.30 pm and until 9.30 am on the Sunday. There was also two hours free on Sunday which meant that we could get a free ticket from the meter and stay parked until 11.30 am, giving ample time to stroll into town for a leisurely breakfast before moving. Breakfast was not offered, but there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a small kitchen next door with a much appreciated ice-making machine (it was about 30 degrees that day!).

SuperbWe got an entire flat for the night, including lounge and kitchen. The furnishings were nothing, special just good standard things, overall a very comfortable night just a shame they forgot to provide teabags!

Computer bookingThe hotel is obviously set up as an university conference center but is good value for the money with the exception of the breakfast: charged 9 GBL per person and while food in the UK is considerably more expensive than N America this was not worth while as one could easily have a nice breakfast in the downtown for less. The hotel is very well suited to visiting the town center.

A great central Oxford findThis was just perfect for what I wanted. Absolutely central Oxford, quiet, safe, cheap.I will certainly stay here again, particularly if I'm doing work at the libraries - it couldn't be better. Not a spot for a romantic Oxford break though!

Rewson House, OxfordThought the accommodation was basic, however this was expected as the price was £50 for the night (saturday night!) - Good valueThe most dissappointing aspect was the check out time. The reception requested that I check out at 9.30am. This seems pretty outrageous to be fair. I am an early bird, however I was meeting some freinds for a good night out, so inevitably I was late back. To be expected to check out at 9.30am is unreasonable in my opinion.Parking is also a big problem, - I recieved 2 parking tickets - one in the evening when I left the car to find the accommodation and one in the morning at just after 8am (on a sunday). It is perfect accommodation for those on a tight budget, who have come without a vehicle, specifically to see the sights etc. Definately do not recommend for those who are planning a late night on the townMark, 29, Leeds

I was told that I could have ordered breakfast when i arrived. I WAS NOT TOLD THIS . So i did not get breakfast but needed to go out to alocal cafe. I would have preferred to have breakfast at Rewley house. Your web site should make clear that breakfast is not booked but may be requested on arrival.

Reasonable Value for OxfordThe room was fairly basic but was reasonably good value (for Oxford which is an expensive city, particularly in summer). The room was essentially clean though it could have been better - there were clumps of hair in a couple of places throughout the room which was a little unpleasant. Also check out time was actually 9.30am rather than the 10am stated on Late rooms... and we were kicked out of the room at 9.45.

Excellent budget accomodation! Clean, cheap & spacious...The room had all the amenities we needed to make our overnight stay comfortable. It's five minutes walk from the city centre, the Ashmolean & my son's college.I will definitely stay there again, & maybe eat there next time too, as the menu looked good.

Ideal for city break on a budgetThis hotel is part of the continuing education centre of Oxford Univesity. The room was great but as they only have twin bedrooms not ideal for romantic break. However, the location was perfect for walking into the city centre and compared to other hotels in the city centre it was very reasonably priced too.
