This is my first review. I am a mature professional who does understand that low price may reduce the quality. I was SHOCKED by the dirt and grime! I had to wear my shoes in my room (#113) because my feet left black soot in the shower because the carpeting was so dirty! The paint was disgustingly dirty, the plumbing was literally falling out of the wall, the picnic tables outside were rotten, the air conditioner had not been cleaned since the 70's (since the rooms were last painted/cleaned). My girlfriend could not get the conditioner out of her hair because the water pressure in the shower was so dismal. The water could not reach past 1/2 way into the tub. It had the pressure of a watering can. If I had recommended this to family/friends, I would have been extremely disappointed. I can't say enough negative about this motel. Stay away from it and go for a large chain. it was disgusting.

visited Fort Henry and other historical sights, took the ferry to Wolfe Island and tried several local restaurants. The food was freshly homemade, delicious fruit pies and seafood. People were very friendly and the town is very quaint. Enjoyed our stay.
